Morrowind!

Have fun, CivCube. I sure did when I played Morrowind 2 years ago. :)

Just try not to make your character too strong. :p

Hey, thanks. Since I also have the two expansions, I'm going to be playing for a looooong time. :D

And I think we all agree: Icarus scroll = BEST SPELL EVER.

Especially the first time you cast it.

It toke me sometime to acquire the spell though - in my first game I was playing a mage, and after some very tough fight against the critters around Seyna Deen, I was feeling a bit chicken. So when I went near that area, I ran back to town when I heard a scream... I thought it was a big bad monster tearing someone up nearby! It was 5 levels later that I found the body...

lol they are very usefull actually :) - no irony
I once used to get out of a VERY VERY bad fight. I had a dwelmer ruin with vampires behind me (with only 1 killed), 3 critters advancing, no heal, teleport or magic restore portions or amulets. My last save was in that dwelmer ruin and not much better.I thought I was doomed. BUT I always carreid those 3 scrolls with me :). So I used it. I had few magiska and yet still could not cast "simple levitation" just before hitting the ground (to slow down). I gave up on trying that after 6 attempts. But then, a stroke of genius :D! I jumped into the ocean. It took me ages to get back to land (that Northern Island with Dwelmer ruins on it) but I made it alive...

:bump: I doubt I've even finished 0.1% of this game yet....

I hadn't realized the jumping into water would save your from being splattened. Interesting....

Is it as good as GOTHIC II ???

Looks similar and it out for a $10 might be worth a look.

Worth of a look?? It's more likely a must for those who like games like it...
And ten dollars isn't much for a great game. ;)

Although the Elder Scrolls IV will come pretty soon... (Wasn't it gonna come inside this year?)

No idea when it is going to come. Most optimistic - end of this year...

Quick question on arrows- is there any difference between the different types of arrows (iron, chiton, glass, etc.) besides their price and weight?

More expensive and heavy arrows should theoreticaly deal more damage IIRC.

I Need HELP

T_T

Just got my Chameleon 100 spell and it seems to be rather buggy.
Sometimes I can easily steal items at other times it seems impossible

I cant figure it out
Do I have to be hidden to cast it first then move in stealth mode to steal ?
Or do i have to cast it out of site from charactors ?

You have to remain unseen while stealing. This means that NPCs should not see you stealing. You can cast the spell wherever you want, but sneaking while stealing an item helps considerably....

Cheers kinda figured it out after that

have to remain out of sight as possible
cast chameleon
cast telekinese

A big mana drain but no more money problems

Well, darn. I'm now level 5 and stuck in the sewers beneath the St. Olms canton. I can't get out of the water.

What do you have with you?

Keep swimming around the edge, you'll eventually find a ramp that streatches from the bottom to the surface.
