Not a movie but an MTV I saw before.
It's early morning. A young couple are in their apartment. They're not speaking. The guy is sleepy and sitting at the table. The lady is making coffee, opens the door, gets the paper, sees the front page, gasps, drops her coffee, starts to cry, packs some stuff, leaves the house.
While all this is happening the guy was at first surprised, then we can see him asking: "what?" (No sound since it's an MTV and the song is playing) then talking to the woman but the woman is ignoring him completely.
The woman goes down the stairs, leaves the building, gets into her car. The guy chases after her, too late to stop her from driving off, runs beside the car banging on the window. She still ignores him, continues to cry.
The guy gets left behind. He goes off in another direction and runs. Through small alleyways. Obviously a shortcut. He knows her route and is thinking of cutting her off at another crossing.
He exits an alley into a street a second too late. Her car passes through but there's a crossing ahead. He runs after the car.
And then, before his very eyes, she runs a red light and her car gets smashed by an 18-wheeler. On the driver side.
(At this point I was going

. Never expected to see this kind of stuff in an MTV.)
He stands there in shock. People are approaching the wreck and crying and covering their faces. Obviously it must be a gruesome sight. He doesn't dare approach the car.
And then from the wreckage the young lady appears. Unhurt. Smiling. She approaches him, carresses his face, wraps her arms around him. They're having a conversation but we can't hear anything. Then they kiss.
(At this point I thought "okay so she's dead and is now telling her lover that it's ok... no hard feelings... goodbye..." I expect her to fade to invisibility anytime.)
It never happened. She never faded away. They just stand there kissing forever as the song went on and on.
And then, at the very end, they showed the newspaper that the woman had read at the beginning. The headline said: "Fatal accident last night at bridge." The accompanying picture was a wrecked car, and the young man's bloodied drivers' license.
