Chronicler's Shop
Requires Tablets

Should be Tablets OR Scrolls.

Midwife Quarters
Requires Tablets

Why Tablets?

Local Recipe(_ Bread)
Obsolete with Franchises

Perhaps it should be Gastronomy instead of Franchises. I am on the fence for which. Perhaps something could replace them at Franchises tech.

Local Recipe(_ Bread)
+ 1 + 1 (Medicine is +1 food and + 1 health, Ceremony is +1 food + 1 happiness)

I was just saying to avoid :) since it would be way too easy to get like +10 :). There are not as many  to balance things without killing starting cities.

Town Messenger
3 Required for National Currier System

This is more of a question than a comment but I know the National Currier System can be made by a Great Person so will the requirements still work or will it make the building without the requirements?

For not from. No tablet, so what would be the schema from the breads?

Wait what? :crazyeye: Sorry I am not understanding what you said.

My phone decided to have issues with the screen, I meant what are the stats for the bread buildings?

Well I am not so sure about the ....

Requires Wheat or Barely or Corn or Potato in City Vicinity

It already has the Barkery which requires Flour so if it has flour do we really need a vicinity resource. Then again if we have that then every city will have a local Local Recipe. Its too bad we don't have like a Great Cook or Great Chef that could make these buildings instead of make it in the city.

What are the specific stats because I am :crazyeye:

What like the code?

Like This:

I am not sure about the Jewelry requirement for bread but I don't have a better idea.

Thanks! They are going to have a high cost btw, probably 300 and 350 for Ceremony and Medicne.

I have an idea to help limit them. Add Requires Grain in City Vicinity. I know Grain is not a map resource, but the current vicinity code allows for say a Bison Herd that produces Bison resource to count as city vicinity. So all the Grain producing buildings should also count as "in the vicinity". Meaning not every city will allow for it only ones with say Wheat Farms, Barely Farms, etc. Even the rare buildings like Rye Farms and Quinoa Farms that produce Grain should count.

The reason I added Resin is to simulate honey. We can also do almond and pistachio.

Maybe we can require eggs and a milk producing livestock. Instead of resin we can have vanilla or Cocoa and the fruit in City residency.

We can also do almond and pistachio.

The local recipe almond-based dessert Marzipan is currently a blindingly unnecessary resource, available everywhere (ie. not requiring Almonds in vicinity afai can see). (Meanwhile universal confections such as jams, pickles/chutneys and toffee are in no way represented...)

Really, guys? I don't see why we're adding a bunch of desserts or breads. Next thing we'll see toilets and deodorant as resources. XD

We have Honey is a resource. Resin would be better representing say sweet sap such as maple syrup. Then again it seems kinda weird for syrup.

Requires Bakery
Requires Candy Shop
Requires Potter's Hut (to store the fruit filling and finished dessert)

This might be better requiring the Confectioner's Workshop instead. However it comes at Alchemy tech. It would also be a better place to store the fruit filling since the Potter's Hut is for making Pottery not storing goods.

Perhaps with Cuisine tech I could move the Confectioner's Workshop back and then you move the Dessert's forward. Or even have a Confections tech where we could put Deserts, Candy, Confectioner's Workshop and Candy Shop all at. I like the latter idea better. Have it require say Cuisine tech and maybe another tech.

EDIT: Perhaps sugar, chocolate and vanilla can be moved here too.

Sounds like Confections would be a Classical or Medival tech. there is some basic chemistry involved with flavor profiles. im thinking Cusine and Smithing.

Just wondering what tags you use when you want to implent "+1 :) with Tech XXX"

Hydro's and my buildings say ingame: "+1 :) with XXX" and your's say "+1 :) when Tech XXX is known". Even if I tend to like your's a bit more since it avoids confusion with Civics, it would look nicer if it would be one standart for the game.

And I think Moon Dance and Nature Dance are slightly overpowered with the free specialist.
