I keep trying to connect to MSN, but everytime I connect. It always tryies 5 times to connect and then fails. It keeps giving me this message "We were not able to sign you in. There may be a problem with our service or your internet connection". All it does is activates my modem so that leaves out the internet connection problem out. I tried asking in the Chat room, but to them MSN is working fine.

Can someone please tell me the solution to this problem. Thanks.

Try a different access number.

If all else fails, I recommend trying their customer support.

Well, trying different access # did not worked :(.

I had a similar problem. Call the tech support #, they can help.

I cant call them since I am to shy to call them. Im just going to switch to AOL then. I cant log into hotmail.com and msn.com. When I enter my user data, it just sends me to a 404 Error page.

Ew. AOL is so much worse than MSN it isn't even funny. I don't see why you can't just call them. And since you seem to have internet access, you do know that they have an online tech support that allows you to connect using the 1-800 number (toll free) and chat online with a tech rep. It really helps.

Eventhough this is a year old thread, I have found a solution to my year old problem. While I was cleaning up my Desktop computer (I have been using my laptop for internet access to MSN), installing the same spyware programs that my laptop has. While I was waiting to download the programs. I did a search for it and I came up with this find:

"The Page Cannot Be Displayed" Error Message When You Try to View Web Page on a Secure Web Site from Microsoft's support page.

I tried and tested things from Clearing my cookies to making sure the settings are right. Finaly, I ran into a solution in wich to create a new profile in windows and MSN finaly works. Apperently I had a corrupted profile which I assume was spyware/malware related (I did a check with the anti-spyware programs and it showed me about 30 enteries of it)

I hope that the information I have provided would help someone who was in my shoes :).
