I did see a 'vacation mode' when I briefly looked at the system. This means that if you know you're not going to be on for a week, you can set up the AI to play your turns for you over that period of time. I'd suggest we use this option so we can avoid delays when they will likely pop up.

We would not be able to record history for this point, and what if everything your AI does is wrong? Turns a war around? The AI is pooor is Civ I feel like. I'd be happy to break for spring break (at least two of us will be gone), and everyone could use this time to relax and create a conlang or political structure or whatever, name stuff. Other people should state their opinions though.

I think when people are going to be away for a while we should just stop the game, because, like sillsworth, said, we wouldn't be able to record what happened that turn if an AI played it for us.

I think since it's set to "Private" it wont show up for you unless you get invited. Anyone who didn't get an invite, maybe PM sillsworth your GMR username or post it here.

Do you understand that turns are spread out over a series of days? As long as you play your turn somewhere within that day, you'll be fine.

And we'll start once everyone has selected a Civ, no matter when that is.

I've also fixed two resource balance issues, and tested the maps four more times. Venice tends to get an inland start, and Mecca gets something that isn't desert. I'll be posting a FINAL AlternateKrakFix7 later today. Please download and replace with your current AlternateKrakFix7

1 turn per day could be a little much with the writing, I could play the turns easily but might be behind a little bit on the writing at times.
Also I've joined, but it won't let me change my civ to Indonesia on my phone. Please don't start until it's been changed to Indonesia (Should be able to do this soon)

I feel like I should be able to do the writing most of the time, but until I'm recovered from the wisdom teeth surgery and feeling better, it's also going to be hard for me to do the writing. This will probably just be for like the next week though.

Once you press "Start Game," the host (i.e. you) creates the game under the hotseat menu of Civilization. The video on GMR's homepage explains how this works. It was just like setting up a normal game, but I had to set each player to Human and select their civ. Same thing with the map; I selected the map you had posted here as the world map, and apparently Heerlo had no problem loading that map.
