Here is what I've worked on. Of course I'll try to make it longer and more detailed in the real game. I looked over your post on page 10. I suppose I could work with another player, but it might get complicated with scheduling and time zones, etc

"My Lord! A messenger has come from the Eastern fronts!"
"See him in."
The messenger came in, a bundle of llama furs. The winters in the northern tundra, are so harsh, that none, but the native Inca, can survive them outdoors.
"Lord Pachacuti!" the messenger banged his head on the floor. "Our war with the English is going well, despite their advanced navy! We have liberated the well-to-do citizens of Ollantaytambo from the oppressive British rule, and furthermore we have captured the city of Hastings. The farmer you drafted as general, Maurice of Nassau, admits that we may not be able to hold on to Hastings for much longer."
"If we can't keep it, burn it," replied the Inca emperor.

William the Conqueror looked upon the scene. He would not make the same mistake as his predecessor, Maurice. The ruins of Hastings behind him, he surveyed York's surroundings. The Inca's crossbows were no match for the British longbows. The army had already suffered gravely in the last battle at Hastings. However, once York is captured, the Inca will have control of most of the Anglo-Inca Sea, leaving Nottingham to trade with. Maurice ordered his musketmen to move in first. Then he sent in the crossbow regiments to hold off the longbows to the best of their ability. Sir Maricanchi's knights moved out to guard the infantry's flanks, and the cannons set up to bombard the city walls. William had to plan carefully, because the British Great Wall impeded troop movements allowing longbowmen to easily pick them off.

From among the animal herders of Machu, an artist of great skill has been discovered. His name is Leonardo da Vinci. He was raised a simple shepherd, and never discovered the world of painting, until an artist passed through his village selling paintings. In awe, Leonardo began to mix paints, painting secretly. Once he revealed his first painting to his family, word spread until he came to be of such renown, that word of his paintings reached royal ears. The King has purchased a painting of his, named the Mona Lisa, for the Uffizi in Cusco. Russian, Assyrian, and Zulu tourists have increased manifold, bringing revenue to the capital and increasing Inca influence around the world. Meanwhile, cavalry divisions on the southern frontiers have noted the increase of barbarian activity thereabouts, and recommend close watch over northward Assyrian expansion. Military experts hold it noteworthy that Zulus have taken over nearly all of Russia, bringing them much closer to our borders. "It is incumbent," says Major General Huamanpallpa, "that we keep our eyes open on our southeastern borders, and be ready for a Zulu invasion. The Zulus have been known to attack their neighbors."

The government has announced the adoption of the Freedom ideology, similar to India. The emperor says, "A free policy would benefit our empire, encouraging the arts and attracting more tourists. Also, when other, less fortunate kingdoms see our freedom and prosperity, our happiness, they will follow us. Or their people will revolt to follow us."

A scientist by the name of Benjamin Franklin has discovered that, by splitting the tiniest atoms, it is possible to create an explosion large enough to destroy an entire city. Franklin himself is from Tiwanaku City. His father was a scientist at the Tiwanaku University. Franklin did his undergrad at TU, but then moved on to the prestigious Oxford University in Tiwanaku. Having done a PhD In physics and chemistry, he moved on to do his own research as a scientist-specialist at the Tiwanaku Library. He discovered how to split an atom accidentally, while actually trying to learn more about the physics of electrons. Franklin was lucky to escape with his life, and his house and laboratory burned down. Military experts rejoice at this news, and say that with this technology, we will never have to fear Assyrian or Zulu threats again.
