[MULT] Pitboss Worldbuilding Challenge

Pydgie can take over if Conk surrenders. You then invite him to take the spot vacated by Conk.
But let's see if Conk can't get GnK first.

Pydgie, could you take over? For the turn? Conk'll email you the file, you can screenshot it and stuff, then send it back.
Good?

We still need people to give the times they can make their turns on the Google Doc. The link is in the social group. Everyone should post.

EDIT: @Pydgie, don't apologize man.

So, this could mean that this will take us approximately 1200 days to complete. By my estimation at least, this game could easily last for 3.28 years or longer.

Just a thought...in 3.28 years, there is about a 3.7 percent chance at least one of us will be dead.

But for the other 96.3 percent of us, this is gonna be great.

Whew, just hope I'm in that 96.3%....

Anyway, sillsworth - you should probably reenable to turn timer. fuzzy_dumpling hasn't taken his turn yet and it's been his turn for almost a day.

+1 (says the guy who took 15.5 hours for his turn(communication!))

I just made a post about this on the Social Group, everyone should check it out.

Sheb, please add the times (GMT) that you're available to the Goole Doc. Link is in the Social Group. Conk too.

Anyone else having Mac trouble with GMR? It's holding up fuzzy_dumpling. The client won't launch or something like that.

I'm pretty sure PC and Macs can't play each other's Civ save files, for some inane reason.

Oh, the same thing happened to me. The email you get is sort of misleading. You don't actually need the desktop client to take your turn. Basically, go to the game itself (http://multiplayerrobot.com/Game#9273) and log in on the upper right hand corner. It will show you that it's your turn, and give you the save file. Follow the instructions on the page I just linked (should be the page you're already checking), and put the save in the Sid Meyers civilization V/saves/hotseat folder. If you can't find the civilization V folder, use the search function in the finder, that's what I do.

It's pretty easy from there. Just load it up as a normal civilization hotseat game and take your turn.

I also couldn't get the GMR Desktop client to work (unrelated to my OTHER issue) but downloading the save like redwings described worked.

I can get GnK for 10 dollars. All I need then is for Conk to install it, tell me his times, and for Sheb to write back. He was just here and then disappeared.
