Do you dream at night of launching a nuclear missile at the North Celtians? If so then you should be threatened... if not the North Celtians do not believe the Ethiopians to be an imminent danger this game and will leave them in peace (the Mayans and Germans are much more sinister in their words and deeds).
As for "other worlds," the leader of the free North Celtic state would like to point out that one Foffaren has never been first attacked in any other game either live or in GMR by this Islandia person. In fact if one were keeping count, Islandia has either remained neutral or explicitly helped the Foffaren empire in several games. We can not count the games where Foffaren (perhaps at the insistence of other sinister Iroquois leaders) has first covertly then openly warred against Islandia with no provocation and lost his hat. Self defense will remain a priority in any game.
No plans on nuking anyone.
I would like to point out one specific game where Foffinca was to be wiped out before he could find any friends. I take that as JapIs willingness to go on a killing spree.

If you mistaken negotiating tactics for actual attacks, then clearly our propaganda is working
Also I still stand by my assertion that you can not claim I am eager to wipe you out in more than one game even if we consider this phantom Japanese game which I am not even currently in yet and have not seen the lay of the land, since that only accounts for one game in which I am theoretically eager to wipe you out!
In fact, you should be prepared in every game for any neighbouring civs. War can be so rewarding if the cost of war is small enough to wage a war, ie. target civ neglecting military, tech and cash. Distant civs are natural allies if not run away too much. So sharpen your teeth (military) while getting your fists (tech, cash, production) ready

Sometimes you even need to watch out for non-neighbouring civs. In one of my first longer games with Tabarnak, we had peace till the modern era. When it was clear he was going to run away with a space victory, I made an open borders agreement with his neighbour, then invaded him with tanks. Still remember that one, especially since he still managed to hang on and launch his spaceship after I'd taken his capital once or twice!

Why do you think I'm topping the military? I need cannon fodder so my 100+ cities can do some damage.

Sorry Foffaren, it won't feel good to see all those game hours to become nothing in the end. I will play peaceful next time, it's just Germany is not tuned to be peaceful. Maybe next game some one agree to protect me, so I can try a cultural win
......and Ethoipia land has become a nuclear waste land, not a good example of puppet ruling, but again they are not born German, so......
