Multi-session Gamespy game - for Europeans with day-jobs (or Americans without them)

The last session was the best set of turns for me, I'm finally going somewhere.

Do you guys enjoy tech trading when there are more than 2 humans in a game? Just curious what everyone's preference is. I've played MP games with and without tech trading enabled, and I vastly prefer the gameplay of disabled tech trading games to enabled ones.

I hope Firaxis considers adding the option to make tech trading conditional to prevent the unlimited tech trading that occurs on turns. I think allowing each player to trade one tech (to or from) every 10 turns would be a nice option.

BTW, when's our next session?

Hmm, I wrote my opinion before in favor of tech trading but it really really isn't pleasant when you're not in the trading loop (like our team in this game). So I might have to revise that opinion...

I'm happy with our rate this week, we accomplished our goal of getting 3 sessions in (i think we had 3 1/2).

As for the next session, Saturday is a "maybe", no sessions before that.

When your preferences for the weekend become clear, guys, post them.

Anyway, I'm happy with the rate so far and having the next game on Monday would be just fine.

Saturday is still a maybe, but on Sunday a 3 hour session somewhere between 15 - 22 GMT suits fine. On Monday the usual 20 - 22 GTM is ok.

Regarding tech trading games would probably be more fair when tech trading is NOT allowed. In that case you would also really pay for selecting "wrong" tech paths. Maybe in next game if one comes.

I understand the Superbowl is on Sunday (starts 18:00 EST or 23:00 GMT). Some of you might be watching it (I can't so I won't).

Actually our game can't interfere with the actual Superbowl, since we don't play play past 22:00 GMT. I'm up for 20:00-22:00.

I was thinking of 2vs2, 3vs3 or 4,5,6player FFA with simultanous turns. This way we can surely finish a game every two days.

Our game is likely to end sometime next week. You can do any or all of the following:
1. Join in our game as one of the AIs
2. Wait until our game ends and join in a new game that's likely to start. If we start a new game we'll announce it in this forum beforehand (in a new thread)
3. Start your own game. Some of us might join (but not me - one is enough).
