That´s great Wotan49! The D-day landing -fleet: may be a battleship, a LSMR (= rocket launching ship like the German Natter ships) and one or two landing ships in my eyes could be the most needed naval units ever done for Civ 3! It would allow a big amphibious landing capacity combined with a big artillery punch for the landing and a good defense value to convince the AI for better amphibious operations.

Do you still have the files of the closer stacked fleet with the Carrier in back?

If yes, would you like to upload it. Even with the carrier planes not over the carrier itself, I think that it look better than the published TF16, as the TF16 looks somewhat awkward then placed next to the coast or another ship.

Ahh... bumping successful! That was fast, Thanks!

And TF38 really looks better in my eyes (only change in pediaicons.txt).

As activated aircraft will cover the complete group, I do not see a disadvantage with the Carrier in the rear. Now it is covered by the Cruiser and the Destroyer during a battle.
