The Immortal Blood Empire
A Story of Children and Monsters,
Part 1

Koopa Rica

Amazonia lives off the riches that we gave them, that they invested and turned into an economic backbone for their nation. We are merely reclaiming what is rightfully ours. Had they paid reparations, this likely could have been avoided… alas, they did not. Our nations, in essence, inked a contract that they would receive funds, and we would receive a portion of the fruits of said funds; this contract was broken. Generalissimo Bowser is quick to forgive, but just as quick to punish.

As for the assault on the Blood Empire’s fleet… well that’s self-explanatory, now isn’t it?

Our respect of our allies' sovereignty is easily established; Colombia and Texas are consulted as equals, not as serfs. We did not demand the Texans cease expansion completely; we requested it and they agreed to leave some land for Tropico's needs. Likewise, the Colombians were not coerced to lend their forces against Amazonia, but offered a reward if they assisted in exacting justice.

To Bowser and the nations of the world

You did not ask for reparations. You did not inquire. You did not talk. You took. You butchered and you killed.

Your 'allies' are respected as long as they obey your desires. You-

Raziel put down his pen. What was the point, no one would listen, he couldn't even blame them. He was a hypocrite and a coward. The mortals in his Father Empire were also slaves, pets, animals to be kept and punished at the Vampires whim. If any tried to disobey the word of the Immortal King they wouldn't just be punished, they would be eaten as well. Slowly.

He would urge peace if he could. Raziel always played peacemaker, it was his role. Maybe he was just no good at it, or maybe, he considered more darkly, it was just that everyone else was so bloodthirsty. Literally in his own families case. But it was becoming clear the whole world was cruel and ruthless in its own way. Some planted daggers in backs, some gave into greed of money, some enslaved clients and some whispered cruel words of pride that gave way to wrath.

"What ails you Father?"

Raziel turned. Ariel, perfect as ever stood in the doorway.

"Nothing."

"You lie poorly."

A moments thought and he was spilling everything. All his woes and fears. What a horrible father he must be, to burden his childe so. It should be him looking after her and not the other way around. He even told her about how he was denied permission to seek evolution again. Kain had bluntly reminded his son that Vampires could only seek to evolve their form after their Father and creator had done so. Even then his children could only take sanctioned forms. Kain was more demonic then human in appearance these days.

"I trust you to do what is right." A small hand clutched his. "I love you."

A soft smile. A kind look. The universe crystallized in clarity. A few words and she was on her way to safety. A few demands and the guards all took the night off. Then he was there alone in the sanctuary, the coffin in which he could sleep and attain a new form left unguarded and unseen for a night. A night of change.

He slept the sleep of the just.

To your Holiness

We need military access to our isle of Rhodes. Hence we do not wish for any atttempts to block the straits to Manx war vessels. We need full trade access through the straits.

In any consideration we will ask our ally of Greneda to heed not your request when it comes to Manx vessels, as well as the Crusaders. The Spammers have proven not keen to trade with us but we still have Egypt to trade for example.

In relation we remind you that you do not control th straits, the people they controlling them are free powers. We will supply Greneda with special shipments of uraniums as a note of our freindship with them. It is all in consideration.

Please be in aware of your political power's limits just as I must be aware of my political power's limits.

Emperor Magnus Flanagon of Man.

The Holy See would remind the Imperium of Mann that war vessels and trade are different things, and that the latter was totally unnaffected by the closure of the straits to war vessels belonging to agents involved in the Romnesian war.

In addition, we are fully aware we do not control the straits. Which is why we politely asked both Sinai and Granada if they were willing to close them. They agreed it was a reasonable proposition, and being sovereign nations they utilising their rights, closed the straits to military traffic of those involved in the Romnesian war.

Either way, as a final note considering peace seems to be breaking out in the Romnesian war regardless, the obstruction to your military vessels presumably would cease upon the advent of your non-involvement in the Romnesian war (the same applying to other involved parties). Ergo unless you have done something to grievously offend either Granada or Sinai, say you insinuated erroneously and insultingly that the Holy See controls their foreign policy and that they don't make their own decisions, or you perpetuate the Romnesian war, the obstruction to your military vessels and those of other parties, such as the Spammers, Namibia, Romnesia, Japan and so forth shall cease along with the cessation of hostile actions in Romnesia.

Granada has received word from all parties of a peace accord. The straits have been re-opened to the fleets of the former belligerents. Peace reigns!

We went to war to help our friends. We didn't know that they were cowards who wouldn't put up a proper fight.

Next time chose better your friends.

To Japan:
From Hyöntou:

We respectfully ask that Japan consent to relinquish northern Kheuhyet (Sakhalin) Island to Hyöntou. We require a port for better transportation to our Khötsah (Kamchatka) territory, and northern Kheuhyet is the only and best method of route from our mainland. We believe that sharing the island in this way will be the best symbol for organized and administrative cooperation, particularly within the East Asian region.

We are sorry, but we have an strict policy of land concessions that doesn't allow us to concede a province without getting another province in return. It's a very complicated legal loophole, but we doubt that you would be interested in ceding a province of your direct possession. In any case, we will gladly let Hyontou ships freely use Karafuto's (Sakhalin's) ports for that purpose.

OOC: presumably that is the necessary two endorsements for the Papal States.

-

IC: The Holy See thanks the Imperium of Mann and the United Kingdom of Netherland and Scotland for their endorsements, and expresses its firm commitment to continuing its UN record of upholding the dictates of the UN constitution while promoting legitimate reform along the lines of the amendment it proposed (and which passed) for the furtherance of global peace and security in the face of illegitimate military action, with respect to the sovereignty of states.
