Raziel put down his pen. What was the point, no one would listen, he couldn't even blame them. He was a hypocrite and a coward. The mortals in his Father Empire were also slaves, pets, animals to be kept and punished at the Vampires whim. If any tried to disobey the word of the Immortal King they wouldn't just be punished, they would be eaten as well. Slowly.
He would urge peace if he could. Raziel always played peacemaker, it was his role. Maybe he was just no good at it, or maybe, he considered more darkly, it was just that everyone else was so bloodthirsty. Literally in his own families case. But it was becoming clear the whole world was cruel and ruthless in its own way. Some planted daggers in backs, some gave into greed of money, some enslaved clients and some whispered cruel words of pride that gave way to wrath.
"What ails you Father?"
Raziel turned. Ariel, perfect as ever stood in the doorway.
"Nothing."
"You lie poorly."
A moments thought and he was spilling everything. All his woes and fears. What a horrible father he must be, to burden his childe so. It should be him looking after her and not the other way around. He even told her about how he was denied permission to seek evolution again. Kain had bluntly reminded his son that Vampires could only seek to evolve their form after their Father and creator had done so. Even then his children could only take sanctioned forms. Kain was more demonic then human in appearance these days.
"I trust you to do what is right." A small hand clutched his. "I love you."
A soft smile. A kind look. The universe crystallized in clarity. A few words and she was on her way to safety. A few demands and the guards all took the night off. Then he was there alone in the sanctuary, the coffin in which he could sleep and attain a new form left unguarded and unseen for a night. A night of change.
He slept the sleep of the just.

Amazonia lives off the riches that we gave them, that they invested and turned into an economic backbone for their nation. We are merely reclaiming what is rightfully ours. Had they paid reparations, this likely could have been avoided alas, they did not. Our nations, in essence, inked a contract that they would receive funds, and we would receive a portion of the fruits of said funds; this contract was broken. Generalissimo Bowser is quick to forgive, but just as quick to punish.
As for the assault on the Blood Empires fleet well thats self-explanatory, now isnt it?
Our respect of our allies' sovereignty is easily established; Colombia and Texas are consulted as equals, not as serfs. We did not demand the Texans cease expansion completely; we requested it and they agreed to leave some land for Tropico's needs. Likewise, the Colombians were not coerced to lend their forces against Amazonia, but offered a reward if they assisted in exacting justice.
