It is in the interest of the Manx that peace if founded sooner than later. The invastion of our land by the United Kingdom is a event we most did not desire. Although we are tempted to exploit the war to our advantage... it is by your consul suggestion that we agree to your divine desire to see peace between the Imperium and the United Kingdom. Hence we peacefully request that the United Kingdom give back what they taken from us. That is all we ask. If the United Kingdom refuses to redeem themselfs and take up peace then the Imperium must confess that it will show little limit in its attempts to restore order, although we dare not attack civilivians for they are not our enemies. Hence the United Kingdom need remembering that the Imperium is among its siblings and that family must stick together, especilly in these harsh times. Peace must bare its fruit.

As for the Romnesian war we wish for peace but they broke it. It is hence that even though I desire peace I must prepare for war to ensure that peace. Even if they agree to a second peace term (which will have to be more harsh than the last to make up for their betrayal) then we will have forces on stand by in case they decide to repeat their dishonest tactic. It is in the interest of the Imperium that peace be in our time. Even Romney must know this, correct?

The Holy See notes that all peaceful resolutions between two aggrieved parties, particularly in the anarchic international society, by necessity requires consideration of the diplomatic situation at hand, and of course an acknowledgement of reality. Inassuch as the conquest of certain provinces under the Imperium of Manns authority has occured within a broader context, and acknowledging that the same context may not necessarily be to the Imperiums advantage. The Imperium must accept that when dialogue proceeds, which it shall under our mediation once clarity with regards to the situation is established, it must be willing to accept less than its ideal outcome if it genuinely wishes to conclude hostilities via peaceful means, just as the United Kingdom of the Netherlands and Scotland must be willing to tolerate a less than ideal outcome on its part in the interests of ensuring a minimum of suffering, and the peace of the Lord in christendom.

As to your comments regarding the Romnesian War. The Holy See understands that Romney's duplicity as a consequence dictates that what modicum of trust existed between it and its adversaries cannot now be taken for granted between the parties involved in that conflict. However at the same time the Holy See expresses its opinion that the Manx proposition, by its very nature was unsustainable due to its severe terms, and certain quite unreasonable demands that even the Holy See condemns despite its distaste for heresy. As such it seems to us quite a natural and inevitable response by the Romnesian party, which itself was the recipient of an invasion on a very limited pretext, as you yourself are at the present, to continue warfare in the hope that the situation may turn in a more favourable direction.

While we understand the costs of peace it is needed that the costs do not tempt war. We will desire our lands to be returned; that is a primal condition for peace or it will just lead to a arms race that may result in a even more terrible war. However we are committed to order above all. Peace comes by order's presence. Hence we will be by order in how we debate peace. Hence a ecomonic tribute may not be a requirement in light of the importance of peace.

As for Romney... he agreed to the terms and must take up them. Since he has committed dishonour we are eager to punish him further. However we are of mercy and will offer him a second chance for peace, especilly in light of our "argument" with the United Kingdom. We will seek peace talks with Romnesia.

Namibia will like to inform that it will not be part of any peace treaty that it has to do with Romnesia. They have already shown that they do not respect peace treaties. Even if we are alone, we shall fight them. It is either us or them.

As 2504 approaches an end, the UKNZ government finally agreed to the calling of a general election. However, the incredible leaps forward which the nation has seen under PM McKiwi were a strong influence on the electorate, and ultimately led him to re-election with the following results:

Conservative: 56%
Liberal: 32%
Socialist: 7%
Other: 5%

McKiwi has declared that in the upcoming years he shall continue pushing the UKNZ forward, and complete it's establishment of a Pacific commonwealth, as has already seen such progress. At the same time however, a commitment has been re-stated to the avoidance of foreign wars, such as those taking place in Africa and Europe.

OOC: I don't recall declaring war on Russia, although I suppose if the whole "war in France" thing goes through due to failure of alternate means of deposing the illegitimate cabal that currently controls the French State, Russia would be obliged to declare a state of war between itself and the Papal States due to its patronage of aforementioned cabal.

2 Spammer fleets land 2 armies in a neutral province on the Namib coast. They engage 1 Namib army for the territory. The Spammers are driven back into the sea and lose 1 division.

Canada’s Prime Minister, relentless in his belief Romney should keep Africa open for expansion, has sent his fleet to ensure good behavior. 3 Spammer, 2 Romney, and 1 Netherscot fleet set up a blockade to defend Romnesia’s coast.

2-6. Canada loses 4 ships and Romney 2.

Romney launches an invasion of West Iceland with 1 division. It destroys the Manx forces present.

Of Namibia’s 21 armies, 7 guard Romnesia 5 settle Romnesian provinces, and 3 settle Namib provinces; 1 guards the Namibian homeland. 5 set sail for Romnesia’s coastline, but must stay back since the blockade was not successfully broken by Canada.

Of Romney’s 14 divisions, 11 take part in Operation: Fireworm against the Namibians. 6 client armies assist, along with another four that were destined for Namibia but cannot reach it; 6 more were supposed to come but returned home, as most were interested in acquiring Namib land more than anything else.

Romney’s incredible numbers and the firepower of his personal force obliterate much of the Namibian army, sending them fleeing into the recently-colonised territories. The Romnesian occupation zone evaporates. Romney destroys 7 Namib divisions, whereas 3 Romney and 1 Soviet division are lost.

5 Vampire fleets, 5 Russian fleets, and 2 Netherscot fleets ferry 12 Vampire armies to Namibia. Being defenseless, one Russian fleet is toasted in passage. 11 Vampire armies make a landing.

While 10 Romney forces were supposed to join in the invasion, Congo has declined payment for military access, with Tropico strictly trying to keep its clients peaceful. After all, if Congo indirectly aided the invasion of Namibia, Tropico would be obligated to protect Congo from Namibia’s wrath…

9 Namib provinces fall without a fight. Namibia loses one battle, and the Vampires another. Both lose 1 army.

The Nambians never tried to negotiate peace with the Blood Empire. We have never lied (out right, avoiding the truth isn't a lie), betrayed, bullied, broken an oath or butchered (give it time). Thus we can not be hypocrites. You merely signed your peace treaty with Romnesia and ignored us. Next time don't ignore us. While Romney might be a dirty Oathbreaker we are just fighting the same war. If you want to negotiate a peace with us you can. We aren't in an alliance and any peace negotiation can be conducted directly. Of course... this also means that getting a peace with us won't stop the Oathbreakers in Romnesia.

Besides, who leaves their homeland undefended? Not us certainly...

The Blood Empire hasn't betrayed you or declared war because you never asked for peace. Mainly most of my RP is just directed at the Papal States in my continued war on all things good.

Correction: there is Canada on the Nambian's side and the Crusaders are likely to get involved. Plus there is Poland in allaince with the Manx, while on the downside Russia is in conflict with Poland.

Also: there is Greneda and its defence pact with the Imperium.

So the Emperor's wife's homeland supplied merceneries to a enemy of the Imperium of Man?! The Imperium felt betrayed from the discovery that Russian vessels were fighting alongside the Romnesians. We are now having the case you are in war with a member of the Order. However as part of improving our relations the Imperium is willing to help peace talks between the Russian and Polish goverments. In the end though our great concern is against the enemies of the Imperium: you should consider taking league with the Imperium against the enemies of your Tsar's son-in-law.
