I have to say, I don't particularly like the english lyrics, they just seem to lack the power of the original, but I'll give that song a try

Mani Matter (swiss chansonier) had a lot of thoughtful messages (usually with a winking eye as well) in his songs but since he always sung in swiss german that would be lost on you anway
