I watched the video, carefully, before I made my decision. I wish more people would do that. I think if more people look at both sides of the story, they would be less liberal. I don't mind them looking at liberal propaganda, but they need to look at the facts too.

That video doesn't strike me as "liberal propaganda." Not at all...

That video and related conspiracy theories are not issues of conservative/liberal. It does help separate the rational and psychologically secure from the weak-minded. Think of it as a litmus test.

Other than that, its an insult to the memory of 9/11.

I think just the opposite. Only a liberal would be deluded enough to support the United States regime in a story which contradicts every aspect of fact and reason. Liberal propaganda was used to force even more Americans to die in foreign wars for a particular neocon agenda...

Since when is asking legitimate questions a liberal trait? I think it should be the duty of every good citizen to keep its governement under scrutiny. And it surely is the job of every politician.

It would be very easy to clear up this whole conspiracy you know. All the governement has to do is release photographs or film showing a the airplane hitting the Pentagon. Since the Pentagon is one of the most well guarded building in the history of mankind images of this must be available if it really occured. On the images release by the governement all you can see is a fireball, no trace of any plane whatsoever.

We even know images of the supposed crash are out there. Because US officials confiscated videotapes of stores close to the pentagon which had their security cameras pointed towars the building. Why dont they show us?

I watched the movie, and the only real questions it raised with me concerned the intellegence of people who take it seriously.

I have to agree here. I've had people agressively argue with me about their belief that the Earth is flat and that I'm part of the government conspiracy to contradict them. There is a group of people living in Arizona that truely believe the Earth is flat. This is no different to me than the flat Earth theory. There are lots of important questions to ask regarding 9/11 and our actions afterwards, but there are always some who want the Earth to be flat.

LOL Jericho I remember that (obviously I'm not that old!) The point is that you can't prove which plane it was and why it was there. That's the basis of the alternative conspiracy theory. Yes I know that there's an alternative alternative conspiracy theory that involves there not being any plane there at all, but I haven't supported that one and you are using it as a red herring.

We are hammered into respecting authority from an early age. It's a diffficult step to take to begin to question that authority.

To try to give a shape to this thread I'll ask some questions:

1) Who placed the put options and for what reason?

2) Who carried out the anthrax attacks?

3) Why did the 4 buildings collapse in NY?

4) Why were the attacks timed to coincide with military exercises and why were these all planned for the same day?

5) Why are there discrepancies between the passenger lists?

Unless you can answer those questions, you have no grounds for believing the official story.

Leha: thanks for reminding me of that particular theory. I discounted it on the basis that Mossad would certainly have used a cleverer plan. I still think the agents clip is credible because I have posted a video link before where Poiwel and Fleisher were asked by reporters about the expulsion of Israeli agents and they both refused to comment. I don't think that was photoshopped!

PS why do people link Snopes as if it was an authoritative source?

Personally I think this video is largely more credible than the official one, foir the reasons that I stated. It would be nice if people attempted to back their arguments up.....
