My friend is still looking for a demo patch for his mac demo of civ II
Where will he be able o find one??

Here's the only patch for the Mac that I know of.

And the note that goes with it:

Mac Users: If you can't get the patch to work, you may have to change the name of the Civ2 program manually to Civilization II Gold 1.1 before applying it. The latest MAC patch looks for the name above. If someone just got the game it would be Civilization II Gold 1.0

I'm not sure what you mean by 'demo' version as well.
