My girlfriend is back...finally!

Small summary:
March 23, 2001: Marianne and I meet each other on a party.
March 28, 2001: Second time we see each other, but now as a date; successfully.
End august, 2001: She goes to Norway to a "folkehøgskole" (folks high school?), just to do something else for a change. She decided this before she met me. And I wasn't reason enough to cancel it. So from that point on we've only seen each other somewhere in october (one week), during Christmas and New Year (two weeks) and in february (one week).

But now her school's over and she finally back. Last friday we saw each other again (after three months), saturday was the last school day and sunday we drove back.

Can you imagine: we were together for five months when she went to Norway (Kristiansand to be exact), knowing she'd be there for nine months. Yet we decided not to separate because it went too well; it just would be so silly. And now we are together for 13.5 month of which we haven't seen each other for 8 months. Ah well, yet 2.5 months to go to set that straight.

Finally, the best thing is: it's as if she never left. We still feel each other so well.

I just wanted to share this between all the serious threads here.

I did try it: when my parents made me wear something like that to Grade 1, back in 1976.

I have not tried it again!

I would have translated it as "peoples college" or something. But I looked it up and in my dictionary and the correct term is "residential college for adult education"

But this is only true if a "folkehøgskole" is the same type of school in Norway as in Sweden (folkhögskola). Im not 100% sure, but I belive it´s the same. Well, it doesn´t matter anyway, now when she´s home.

You're probably right. But it was simply the best I could think of.

It's simply a school where you learn almost nothing and have fun for a small year. At least that's what I figured from her stories...
