Since Sandris is creating such wunderful napoleonic era units (as the russian Musketeers/Grenadiers etc.)
it just would fit to have convenient advisors...

Hope you like them!

There is no graphic for "Trade", I use Firaxis` original industrial era graphic for this.

Cool things. I thing i use thems.

Just a little problem : Napoleonic era was a BAD era for black peoples. See one as "Cultural" advisor is funny.

Agreed with Blue Monkey.

You tried to link it to a PCX file. Most browsers can't read PCX files. The best way to do it is to convert the PCX to a JPG or PNG and then upload it.

Great job with the science advisor

hey folks, it's nice to see that still someone is using those advisors in game.

I tried to fix "advisor_tab.pcx", but a HD crash a while ago destroyed a lot of my old Civ3 modding works including that file...

Thank you all for the comments, I agree that female and black advisors are not really historic for napoleonic times, but they ad some colour and grace to it :)

Here's one I put together with just the military style advisors.

advisors tab.zip

Napoleons advisors were most often his Marshalls. Having said that, he did not always listen to them. he also had a mathmetician as an advisor. The final decision on any matter however always rested with Napoleon himself. There were two occasions that I can think of that he SHOULD have listened to one of his Marshalls in particular. Marshall Ney had advised a different route of retreat when retreating from Russia. He wanted to go farther south were there was more food for foraging. He could saved about half his army if he had. Ney also advised a flanking movement at Waterloo by his calvary which Napoleon rejected. Analysis of the battle has shown that this manuver may have infact changed the entire outcome of the battle and the war.
