Nationality in Profile

Oh that isn't what I meant. I figured you were referring to both location and nationality in general. My mistake. See, I'm not a anglo saxon (white) American. I'm a different race while being of American nationality. I thought you were requesting that it be a way so that people would know if one was Chinese, African, Antartician, etc. Sorry for misinterpreting that.

Do you really think Lechtenstein is that cool as a name ? ;)
Yes, it's the coolest name ever! How dare you imply otherwise! BTW, what's the adjective for that country? Liechtensteinian?

Also, the flags like in Poly is a bad idea as it makes people choose "fanciful" places even more.
Yeah, but they're just so pretty... ;)

YEah, Will the flags are already there I think, TF just has to enable the feature :p

So BTW, how hard is it to enable a feature? Just a few clicks here and there, or do you have to install something, or what?

So is anyone with me?!!! *loud roar and applause breaks out*

I like the idea of flags. People that don't want their nation reveiled don't have to pick their nation's flag. I for one would like to see where some others are located.

Yay, that's four people that want flags! Should I make a seperate poll about it?

Flags wouldn't really work for me. I live in Californian, but am Chinese-American. I'll use a US flag because I'm a US citizen, but that's really not what D' Argtanan intends now, is it?

Hmm, I think in that case you could choose both the Chinese flag and the American flag (and say why in your location if you want), since I think at Apolyton you can have up to three flags (and I'm assuming that's the norm for flag-enabled forums).

Edit: Actually, how about if TF does decide to enable flags, the location could be used for where you live (the same way it's used now), but the flags could be used for nationality? That way, only one flag would be needed.

Wouldn't that be an aweful lot of clutter? I mean, an avatar, and three flags . I really don't like it.

See my edit for a better way of doing it. :)

What if someone has multiple nationalities :hmm:. Err, either way, an avatar + a flag would still be a bit much. Short couple-line posts would suddenly be twice as long, since now a flag needs to be displayed at the side as well. Not to mention all the graphics that need to be loaded for modem users.

Nor really, since the flags only have to be about the size of the flags at Apolyton, shown here.
