I'm not 100% sure, but I did read in the past something like how to replace the spline interpolator with a transform interpolator... may be a import/export animation with blender...![]()
Edit: Maybe this tutorial will be of help for you: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=271331
U remember that favor u did for me?
Well guess what? I got to Gunpowder and of course no more Amazons, I think I forgot about that little detail.
So, um... I know I ask too damn much. Yo Saibot! Anyway I can add more units to your modcomp?
The python functions that changes the units to Amazon units is written in a way that all units that have similiar named Amazon unit counterparts are targets. For example, the existence of the Unit_Amazon_Archer makes the Unit_Archer a target. So, if it is desired to add more Amazon units to this mod this is possible by just naming the new Amazon units accordingly. For example, if an Amazon Knight should be added to this mod, that unit should be named Unit_Amazon_Knight. This is also the reason why the for example the Amazon Greatswordwoman files can be found in the Amazon_Maceman folder. Of course this will only work if the 'Amazons' bonus isn't obsolete at the time that unit is build. To change the tech that makes that bonus obsolete change the xml files accordingly as well as the entry 'TECH_GUNPOWDER' under 'onTechAcquired' in the python file 'CvEventManager'.
SaibotLieh,
Thanks much for posting this!! I'm new to the game and to this website, but I've already become an instant fan of your work.
When I was younger, I used to design modifications for the original "Unreal Tournament," and so I appreciate the type of commitment involved here.
And I would like to contribute something also. I'm definitely going to have to study the inner workings of Civ IV first. But I have a couple ideas for my own modification... I'm thinking something in the way of lengthening the time Amazons are present in the game before "the show is over" (they get replaced by male counterparts).
This could mean prohibiting advancement into the modern era or otherwise cutting off access to certain technologies. A less extreme idea would be to simply lengthen the research time required for each of the earlier technologies. Still another idea would be to convert the Amazons into their own playable civilization, providing female replacements for the modern soldiers. I will need to reflect on this some more.
But thanks again for your contributions. You are very talented.

Nice, but this mod did not work on my BtS 3.19, why? Must I change something? I only copy the NativeAmazons in the BtS/mod-folder. Start game, select a nation, put one amazonvillage with the builder in range to my new city and after the first round the BtS crashed... so what is the problem? Hope, you can help me!
Hiya. Spotted this mod, downloaded it and am rather enjoying the variety in my units.
One thing I've noticed... my Cottages (for Amazon-harvesting, among other things) don't seem to develop into Hamlets (or Villages or Towns) any more. I can overwrite them in the Builder easily enough, but during the game they don't have the "City must work to grow" or "X turns to *next size*" notes. City Ruins, however, suddenly can convert to full-bore Towns if they're worked for a single turn.
Also, how do you go about using the Native Amazons modcomp with the Female Great Persons modcomp? The description for FGP suggests that it's doable, but I can't figure out how - I can only tell BTS to load one or the other.
After a bit of "wait - it doesn't look right - I did that wrong, didn't I?", I now have amazons and lady prophets running around my map. And the cottages are developing exactly as planned...
Thank you muchly.
