The ruler of Egypt at the time, was a complete idiot, and Saladin saved the country from Crusaders, and disposed the guy I think...


Since Vlad is being made anyways, Peter and Saladin get my vote.

Some info on Saladin on top off my head.

He was of kurdish origin. He served as general in his uncles(?) army. His uncle was Sultan of Syria. Then the grand vizier of Egypt betrayed the Fatimid dynaty, and allied with Syria, but when he got the power he then betrayed Syria, and Saladin killed him and became the new ruler of Egypt. After some years his uncle died and he managed to get controll og Syria too. Thus the Ayybajid Empire was formed. In 1250 the Mameluks(Turkish origin) overthrew the Ayybajids and became the new rulers.

Note that I'm not sure about everything, my memory might be playing me tricks.
