Ok.... Something that just started today for me, but here's my problem:

I go to my user cp click on one of the subcribed threads that has a new post and of course it takes me to that thread. I read the new post click quote to respond type up my message hit submit reply and guess what? It takes me to one of the posts I made yesturday. Didn't even post the one I meant to.

So far I've managed to get about 1/5 of my posts to actually work correctly, but it's really starting to become annoying.

weird problem... you mean after you reply to a post, it doesn't take you to the page containing your new post?

Ok..... This is the third stupid time trying to post this.

Ok.... Mainly what happens is I click on the submit reply and it pops up with the "your post is being processed" then instead of taking me to where it's suppose to it takes me to one of my earlier posts. On top of that the post I meant to post doesn't even get posted..... Really annoying

Netscape 6

Also I'm starting to get this message when I hit submit reply:

This is most likely your problem. I used to do quality assurance for computer software at work, and Netscape managed to cause problems with just about everything. Try using Internet explorer...

I use to use Internet Explorer, but that was causing ALOT of problems with my computer. This is the first problem that someone has ever said might be my Netscape :)

Try upgrading to Netscape 7 strider.

Try upgrading to Netscape 7 strider.

I'll try that

If that doesn't work, try clearing your computer's cache.

What's my computer cache? And how do I clear it?

(After I download Netscape 7 it seems to work again)

Well if it works don't bother :)

If it does act up you'll have to talk to someone else about cache clearing in netscape, since I use IE and Opera/Lynx only.

I recommend Opera also, except for browsing dubious phpbb based fora... ;)

IE works fine with CFC, Netscape crashes rather often, especially the 4.xx versions but also NS 7. Opera works ok, but has some minor issues it cannot handle.

Concerning certain phpBB fora, they can all work fine with every HTML 4.01 compliant browser.
All that has to be done is correct all possible mistakes in the HTML code, which I just recently did. :yeah:

http://validator.w3.org/

Now that "dubious" forum is HTML 4.01 validated, unlike most other sites. (including CFC)
:D
