Hi all,

i'm a pretty new player and i've to learn the art of city specialization, so i'm playing a game on BTS (Noble level) with Huayna Capac.
I made my first city a production city because it has some good hills. Anyway i don't think it will be the main production city cause it lacks some other good source of hammers. This is an image of my first city.View attachment 157168
Do you think is a good production city or maybe i've to switch to a GP farm or something?

Another choice i'd like to comment with you is about the placement of my first economic city. Here is a screenshot of my economic city.View attachment 157169
There are some useless tiles but there are also good tiles with much commerce and some hammers too. I also think it's in a strategic position behind the mountains. What do you think about that? Do you think it was bad placed?

Any comment or suggestion are really appreciated.

P.S.: Here a shot of the two cities. View attachment 157170

It's an OK production city now, but the long term future looks bleak. The lack of food is going to be a real problem. 15 hammers per turn at size 6 is decent. But when you get yourself up to size 10, you still won't be as high as 20 hammers per turn (unless a new strategic resource puts in an appearance). Not to mention the fact that this unfriendly terrain will make growing to that size a relatively slow process.

Thanx for your reply!

I think you're right, for now is enough (in fact i've been able to rush some good wonders, i only lost GW race) but i've to find another good place for a production city as soon as possible. What do you think about my commerce city?

Thanx,

lennox
