Need some advice on two civs

I am about to get Conquests and Right now I cannot decide if I want to be the Mayans or the Sumerians. I like the Sumerians UU better. But they are not industrious. I broke it down as shown below

Sumerians:
Scientific (SGL's)
Good Defensive UU

Maya:
Industrious (Not as powerful as before but good nonetheless)
Enslavement Ability (good for getting workers)

They are both agricultural, so I left that out. I need some help on deciding who I should play before I get it. Anything I missed or I should know about?

Why does it matter, just play both. Howecer, out of those two I recommend the Maya because they can enslave half-efficient workers and because they're industrious. I replaced Sumeria with Austria in my game because I didn't care for Sumeria. The Enkidu Warrior comes to quickly and it isn't all that useful.

Cheap spearman, no need to build warriors as MP, you can get spearman with same cost
I'd say, roll a dice and if you get 1-3, Sumeria, if you get 4-6, Mayans

I love industrious, but Sumeria isn't bad.
