Pre-turn, 350AD- Here is the situation at the start on the turnset:
I cant decide on what to do with the army. If I have him pillage, their reinforcements cant get to the mountain outpost before having rocks thrown, but then well need those roads when we advance. But our slaves could build roads, so were ok. See that bad boy French gun pony? He could take 1 of three of my core cities, each defended with one spear pony. So I send another horses to two of the cities, and an extra NM to one. He cant take a city in one turn, and two fresh swords on the way during the IBT, we can put this guy away. Of course, there will be more landings next turn

. Uh-oh, the three musketeers up north are looking for trouble. I send an NM for defense in that city, then another to guard the iron. The workers will flee to the city, then turn into hot chicks to distract the 3 musketeers from their ambition to pillage next turn. Dont know what to do with that silly settler(tm), our perfect layout combat cities it cant go near, so itll found a crap treb making town by America up north. Found Carthago Novo Now its combat time

. Cats go meow and trebs go, uh
bark? Im keeping a tally on the battles and suggest everyone do this, we need to know our kill ratio, to know whether its profitable to keep fighting or not. This turn I kill-
Cav- II
And we lose-
Horses- I
NMs- III (horrible RNG luck this turn)
Situation before I hit shift-enter
IBT- Lose a sword (fully healed attacked by a redlined cav

, NM, and horse. Carthage sword>sword, Leptis Magna sword>sword. I accidently left a city open to a redlined cav, and they take it, and magically a vet rifle appears there

. How did it do that? A cash rush would have taken another turn, and there was no road. Another landing by an open city.
1. France has 2 musketeers on iron

. No more swordys for us. Stopping here, each turn is exhausting.
Will finish this later, and it's time for 5 turn sets, at least during this war time. The SG standard is 5 for the IA, but I don't know if we'll ever get there, and our opponents are there.
Don't lose hope, once we pillage their supply line for reinforcements and their salt/horses, the game is won.
