hmmm haveing a look we probably should have taken the opportunity to start the war. I'd suggest the next person up divert a force, it probably wont need to be too big, to take out the two iro cities up north while the main body of troops concentrates on holding the main front with the iros. We'll soon have a second source of incense... I could be missing something but the way it appears to me, the incense is outside the useable land of London, we already have a source hooked up, we cant trade it, so I think we would have been better served developing the land around our other cities first. But like I said I could just be missing something. We are going to need to go to war very soon. The advantage of just taking out the 2 cities to the north is its very doable, nets us some more (albeit rather dodgy) land up north and (rather less dodgy) land to the north-east and we could probably then sue for peace getting some techs. I think we need galleys to start scouting the waterways sooner rather than later as we need to discover the rest of the world, to get ourselves trading partners if nothing else, as atm even for peace the value of techs to the Iro will be huge.
Will take a more detailed look at the save (MM, troop numbers etc.) after a good sleep!
