Kuwansa and his group of warriors, perched on a hilltop, looked down on the small Maasai village below. The village people were going about their daily business. Children were laughing and playing, shawl-clad women carrying intricately weaved baskets full of berries or fresh meat on their heads, men out hunting.
Kuwansa and his men slowly went down the hill.
They strolled into the middle of the village, and announced in Maa (Maasai language),
"All who are interested, gather round! We have a wonder to show you!"
The whole village gathered.
Kuwansa took out the pack of gunpowder and two sticks. While one of the warriors began ribbing the sticks together to make fire, Kuwansa laid the gunpowder out in a circular pattern.
The warrior dropped the burning sticks into it.
The gunpowder crackeld and hissed in an extravagant fashion. People screamed and gasped in wonder, some ran away.
Kuwansa said,
"All who wish to see more wonders as such, should join the Zulu Empire in our glorious quest for unification of the tribes. If not, let's just say that our army is waiting... it's an easy choice, if you ask me."
A tribesman spoke up.
"So... when do we leave for Zimbabwe?"
Kuwansa smiled. Large armies aren't good for nothing.
Sorry for the sloppy story, my sister has to get on the computer like right now for homework.
Zulu Orders: Spend one eco on increasing army size.
Spend the other on further encouraging education.
Begin trade with tribes who haven't joined the Empire yet.
