I would like to play the Maliamese.. Or rather, a new Maliamese faction that opposes Sinhalese 'occupation'.

The city of Ligor bustled around the council tent as Muzzafar balked at the message conveyed by the Sinhalese messenger.
"You want us to be occupied by the Indians?" Muzzaafar asked in utter shock.
The look on Makhemaru's face was serene. "The Juang forces are a threat. I'd rather live under a Buddhist emperor of the people than.."
"Bullsh|t!" Muzaffar interrupted. "You think the Juang people are worse because you have never been conquered by the Sinhalese! And I tell you this is WRONG!"
"If you continue with this, you shall be dismissed from the council." Although the Maliamese were considered a tribal council, everyone knew who was the real leader. Usually, that meant that the councillors merely became 'yes-men'. Muzzafar was the only Malay in the council and to keep his place, he usually had to support whatever Makhemaru suggested.
But enough was enough.
"You do not dismiss me, Siamese. Do not forget that the Navy is composed 100% of Malay ships."
"And you believe that I care about your 15 PUNY ships?"
"To hell with you! We shall see how you Siamese can survive without the Malay people."
With that, Muzzafar stormed out the council tent. By this time, the noise from the tent (sound goes through canvas easily, duh! ) had attracted quite a large crowd outside. Looking at the dark face of Muzzafar, they suspected something was wrong.
And suspicions were confirmed as Muzzafar began addressing the crowd,
"People of Siam and Malaya, we are all here due to the unprecendented incursions of the Sinhalese and Juangs. Now, your leader Makhemaru has suggested that we be occupied by the Sinhalese people. Would we stand for it!? I won't. I have a plan. We shall leave the hell-forsaken place. We shall sail to a place where we will be free!"
Some nods of agreement could be seem from the crowd. But the people weren't as enthusiastic as he thought they would be.
"If we fail, it'd be no worse than being slaves to the Sinhalese Empire. But if we succeed, freedom will be yours. And we WILL be more than mere refugees."
That got a better response. Not galvanising but something that gave Muzzafar hope.
"My ships will be ready on the morrow. Meet me at the docks then..."
