NES2 II: Age of Discovery

Capulet, you're screwed. Banning alcohol can only lead to them rebelling.

...Das...if you are there...register another account :p

Fantasmo: The Vassal RULERS are the ones that can't drink alcohol anymore. I don't want one of the being killed in a drunken rage again.

They'll rebel and kill you.

You know, I should listen to you. You being the former Emperor of the Juang Empire, you would know A LOT about rebellions.

OOC: I was not at all "spiteful" i simply wanted to restore the Proper Rule of China into the Han Population which is after all, mostly confuciusits. I was very suprised when u didn't send all ur troops against me in the beginning...

Oh you were too spiteful.

sometimes i do think mods have a power trip, they should try talking before going ban ban ban bah!

and yes i did notice the back army before hand i was just playing around in character.

Stalin I will remeber you in my sig! And when they take me too, someone will remember ME in his sig!

I just hope they don't take the banned people to some camp and abuse them... I don't like abusing!

i dunno it might be fun if they abuse you in certain ways ;)

tbh if we carry on like this and an admin sees this thread we are going to lose most of our main players.

Yes, and then I'll take your nations and ruin them, and run giggling off into the sunset.

and my people will rise up and crush you and your phony papacy

OOC: Fantasmo, remember the 5-line limit on sigs. You have closer to 8.

The island remains
unconquered, rebellious
Raise up the army.

-Sheguwata Henoken, during the Watchful Time.

"We'll have to ready our fleets. Tokugawa has a much smaller army, but his ships are strangely powerful. If only there were some way to get our men across without having to transport them.
Tokugawa is disliked by his people. If we could begin an uprising against him, he would be brought down, only then we would have to settle another civil war. No, another uprising is not the solution."
Sheguwata finished his conference with his generals and left for the throne room. Today would be his official inauguration. He doubled back, entered by a side door, and continued up a secret passage. "Hang... Che, Isogu..." he muttered as he twisted a large lever towards symbols graven in the wall.
The discovery of this place had been pure luck. As he had started consolidating the Edo units, he had visited the ancient castle that was to be his seat of power, and seen that an old, gnarled tree bore a few symbols indicating this way.
He moved the lever again, opening the heavy granite door. There it lay. A ruby the size of a pigeon's egg.
With trembling hands Sheguwata grasped it and left, sealing the door behind him. The other rooms would have to wait for later.
Half an hour later the stone was firmly set in his new crown. Twenty minutes after that again, he was waiting breathlessly for the ceremony to begin. Now he would be the official Emperor.

To be continued...

ORDERS: Increase economy.
Continue project.

The march through the heartland of Britannia was stirring for the men in the armies traversing the green plains, the wooded hills. Onwards they marched to engage teh enemy in battle. Consistantly they fled us or manouvered away from teh glorious armies of Britannia. The joy at the prospect of getting to grips with teh enemy was evident in the troops themselves, they marched singing, singing to the heavens.

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus going on before.
Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
Forward into battle see His banners go!

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus going on before.

At the sign of triumph Satan’s host doth flee;
On then, Christian soldiers, on to victory!
Hell’s foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
Brothers lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

Like a mighty army moves the church of God;
Brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod.
We are not divided, all one body we,
One in hope and doctrine, one in charity.

What the saints established that I hold for true.
What the saints believèd, that I believe too.
Long as earth endureth, men the faith will hold,
Kingdoms, nations, empires, in destruction rolled.

Crowns and thrones may perish, kingdoms rise and wane,
But the church of Jesus constant will remain.
Gates of hell can never gainst that church prevail;
We have Christ’s own promise, and that cannot fail.

Onward then, ye people, join our happy throng,
Blend with ours your voices in the triumph song.
Glory, laud and honor unto Christ the King,
This through countless ages men and angels sing.

This anthem bellowed from the lungs of the men thousends strong it was a sight to see and a spectacle to hear, At the head of the column marched the Bishop and the head inquisitor holding high the christian banners from horseback, whilst beside them rode the king. King Albert the great flying the banner of britannia. The drums beat the march, tin drums tat tat tating away. A Captain of the light horse, leant to his right and said to his sergeant.

" why not a song for Britannia? We march for her as much we march for the church."

and with that the drum beat changed, the anthem bellowed rule britannia! the sounds of the army could be heard miles away as the sang their heartfelt love of the nation that sheltered them and gave the christian cause a base from which launch its assaults.

When Britain first, at heaven’s command,
Arose from out the azure main,
Arose, arose, arose from out the azure main.
This was the charter, the charter of the land,
And guardian angels sang the strain.

Rule Britannia!
Britannia rule the waves.
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.

The nations not so blest as thee,
Must in their turn to tyrants fall,
Must in their turn, must in their turn,
To tyrants fall,
While thou shall flourish,
Shall flourish great and free,
The dread and envy of them all.

Rule Britannia!
Britannia rule the waves.
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.

Still more majestic shalt thou rise,
More dreadful from each foreign stroke.
More dreadful, more dreadful
From each foreign stroke.
As the loud blast that tears the skies,
Serves but to root thy native oak.

Rule Britannia!
Britannia rule the waves.
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.

Thee haughty tyrants ne’er shall tame,
All their attempts to bend thee down,
All their attempts, all their attempts
To bend thee down,
Will but arouse thy generous flame.
But work their woe and thy renown.

Rule Britannia!
Britannia rule the waves.
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.

To thee belongs the rural reign,
Thy cities shall with commerce shine,
Thy cities shall, thy cities shall
With commerce shine.
All thine shall be the subject main,
And every shore it circles thine.

Rule Britannia!
Britannia rule the waves.
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.

The muses still, with freedom found,
Shall to thy happy coast repair,
Shall to thy happy coast,
Thy happy coasts repair,
Best isle of beauty,
With matchless beauty crowned,
And manly hearts to guard the fair.

Rule Britannia!
Britannia rule the waves.
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves
