Nation Background: The Sikhs never did accept their defeat in the Sikh Wars of 1830s. Since then, even though they pretended to be compliant subjects of the Federated Kingdoms, they wanted independence - and now, using the precarious position of the FK, they got it, though at the price of betraying their doomed Turkmen allies. But now, they had to make another distasteful betrayal, lest they be smashed by the Federate enemies running amok in India.

We are the remaining forces that stand against Federate tyranny on this earth. The whole world will be soon ruled by these...dictators, if we do nothing more. As such, we must form a more formal alliance to resist them. We only regret that we had not done this in the past.
We propose that it's name be the Alliance of the Orient, due to the location of the majority of the alliance's members.

Panda, I had a little something planned for you, just in case France fell. I've slowly been building up a large French expatriate community in Persia, and, well...just read below.

The Empire, and the Provisional Government led by the great Marshal MacMahon, now deceased, has been destroyed, by a cowardly alliance of traitors who sold the soul of France to the Federated Kingdoms, in return for military aid. Many Frenchmen across the world have been outraged by this. Across four continents, there were men willing to stand against the orange tide.
They called themselves Nationalists, or Provisionals, or perhaps simply freedom fighters. Under many generals, with many goals, they tried to keep France alive. They fought in America, in Mexico, in Mozambique, in Marseilles. And so many of them, far too many, perished in Paris, along with their great leader himself.
The nation of France has been destroyed. The disgusting abomination that controls the former nation of France, that abhorrent Republic of saboteurs and spies, sits on the empty throne of the Emperor. And thousands of Frenchmen surely shed a tear as their great empire collapses into dust.
But while the nation of France, and the very symbol of it's greatness, Paris itself, has been razed to the ground...the idea of France still survives. It is an idea that transcends borders, one of Liberty, Fraternity, and Justice. It is one that can still exist, even when usurpers place the crown on their heads.
That is why we announce the establishment of a Free French goverment in Teheran, to be led by First Consul Emile Grebert, an esteemed physician, statesman, and diplomat. Unlike the Republicans, he supports a true democracy, one that is supported by free elections, but enjoys the love and of the people, as well. A government that is brought to power in peace, and not stained by blood and betrayal.
In addition, we announce the formation of the French Foreign Legion, an army of soldiers, be they of the Empire, the CDN, or the Provisional Government, or merely men who care for their nation. We hope that they will flock to Persia to support the true France that lies in chains, and assure them that this Legion will not be an organ of the Persian government. The Legion will be bidden only to the Free French Government.
So in closing, we say this: Those that wish to see France reunified, with all the glories of the Empire restored, but with freedom and democracy, true freedom instituted by Frenchmen and not Federates, as well. Arise, people of France. For you must now fight for your freedom against the Britons, as you did over four hundred years ago.

Four years. Four years we have been fighting a bloody and dead war. Ever since the last mad French King have made the decision to invade the Federated Kingdoms and made it in a way so foolish that our own homelands were occupied by the Federated Kingdoms. Yet it's continuer the Provincial government of France have signed peace and the Federated Kingdoms, instead of doing the obvious and annexing all they wanted from the French Empire, have installed a new government in Paris. A government of people who just a few years ago had the French people voice in a rebellion to bring a democracy, a Republic. Yet the people voice was no heard, instead the last king of France fought the voice of the people and the mad McMahon ransacked the voice of the people in a militaristic move. This government, The Republic of France, have promised since birth that as soon as McMahon is brought down and the civil war would end will bring elections in France to see who will the people side with. While at the civil war this was seen in volunteers, later by people from Provincial France who wanted the war to end. Four years we fought against brothers because of one madman and the country of France is now in flames. Now after four bloody years you install a new French madman and call him the new leader of France, prolonging the civil war. You may think you are doing the right move, maybe for yourself. Maybe some few French men still believe that even thought France is now free we need to keep fighting the Federated Kingdoms. You are mad if you think most French people think this way. For France the war have ended.
The old Monarch of France, which none shed a tear for as he is the only one to blame for the destruction of the French Empire, is gone. The Provincials and Nationalists are gone. Now peace have came to the French homelands. Why should French people from around the world join Persia in defending your own lands? You are mad if you believe that soldiers who just returned to their homes after a bloody civil war will now find a ship to make a trip to Persia in order to get weapon and fight a war that does not belong to them. French from the colonies have also said their words, they have joined the Republic with not even a gun shot to be heard.
Now to your accusing the FK of the destruction of Paris. Paris is standing. Standing well and it was only the siege McMahon have put on it that have brought it down. Yet even with a madman the city of Paris held. Now that the civil war which we finally ended and you try to recreate we could rebuild our homes. Or could we? Not as long as the Persian ruler rules a land and an army as it seems. The French people have spoken. The Persians have just became a new side of the civil war. A side that all French man detest. Do you think the Frenchman you installed as your puppet ally is truly an ally of yours? You are living in dreams puppet master. Soon we shall break your woods and all your puppets will be made into true children to run free among the rest of the world.
And against your call for the creation of the French Foreign Legion we declare the create of the official Republican Army. And we call all Frenchmen who wish for peace to remain to join in our call for defense. We must defeat the Persian who look to destroy French homelands even more in a continuation of the civil war. Now the war have ended and the Republic will put all it's economy into rebuilding the Homelands and few colonies we have left.
