Whoa! Taking into account several other developments, this might actually turn into one big all-out Eastern European War! Fields will be covered with blood and corpses, cities will be ruined, millions of people will die! (Go for it, in other words. )

Perhaps the HRE would like to reconsider it's decision. As the Empire of France has a Defensive Alliance and a Guarantee of Independence with Persia, declaring war on us for whatever reason would place the Empire of France at war with the Holy Roman Empire.

Why? Considering you started this war, why should the defensive alliance be triggered? Just curious as I'm not really sure I get it. I have/had a defensive alliance with Portugal, but since they started their current war it hasn't been triggered.
