NES2 VI - Last Semblance of Order.

The Ottoman Empire will not actively attack Abyssinia. As it has said before, it will only defend the lands of Sennar.

However, the Ottoman Empire believes that Sennar is asking for too much in its peace terms. The 5 economy points, in our opinion, should be lowered.

Captain Badome sat outside, looking over the war plans for the oncoming situation.

The Captain sat back staring up at the sky.

Flashback:

The Cpatain was riding his horse leading his army forward. He had only encountered a little resistance now. Many had surrendered or ran for their lives.

Pathetic! This is no army. It is but a crumbling nation ripe for the picking. Sennar will be an easy move.

As the captain came over the lieing hill he saw it. The great center of Sennar. It was no longer a peaceful city however. Fires burned bright as smoke spewed from the palace and everything else. The Captain smirked.

To easy

He looked down and saw a small army and rows of tents. The men below were pulling together. Trying to make a last stand. Trying to stop the Captain from his destiny.

"Cute isn't it." the Captain said to his first lieutenant, " bring up the cannons, prepare the cavalry. We strike now. We win or die this day. In the name of God we shall fight." The Captain called on his men.

Blowing of the horns of Shiba rang out.

Hazah! Hazah! Hazah! Hazah! Hazah!

The cannons fired down upon the city. The men below called out in pain. They quickly fell behind the gates to the city. Badome chuckled. Taking out his saber and cocking his pistol, he ordered full fire on the entrenched soldier.

The men cried out in pain. The Captain pulled on his stallion, and called amongst the troops, "Long live the Emperor, Long live the Empire. Fight on! To the Red Sunrise!"

The men cheered. The cavalry in front began to charge with the Captain at the front.

The Imperial Guards stepped forward with the rest behind. The cannon fire tore through the gate knocking the hinges loose. The gates collapsed with the Captain's horse rearing its great head. The soldiers fired a round at the men.

A bullet seared into the captain's arm and leg. The Captain laughed.

Ahh! A good pain! A pain of a thousand battles flows through my veins! You cannot stop me!

The enemy soldiers through down their weapons as the army poured into the city.

The Captain sat on his horse looking out. He looked at his Lieutenant.

" Do you know what that smell is lieutenant?
Its the smell of war. The smoke stinging your eyes. The grasping flames and struggling lungs. The smell of led and blood. I was here once before[1]. When the great Egyptian Empire ruled the world. I was here. A General amongst the forces. This is what I have always been meant to do."
--------------------------------------

Now the Captain sat far from Sennar. Smoking his pipe. His wounds had healed over and he was ready for another fight. He had received a message from the Emperor promoting him to Brigadier General for his efforts in Sennar and the capture of the capital. He had turned down the ceremony that would be held in Gonder. Badome had said if he left something exciting would happen without him.

Now the new General read of the message from this new King. Rajab I.

The General had chuckled when he heard of this man. He was astonished at his victories.

Why does this man fight? Why does he try? the General said.

A seargent said happily, He's like you sir. Never backs down from a fight. Always fighting never giving in even when the odds are against you.

The Genral laughed. Your right he is just like me. But he ain't as young is he. Traitor to his nation. I hear he was one of the first to abandon the King's army. No respect. I hope I can meet this man. Get to know him. He seems fierce. My first true rival Seargent. Sennar was childs play after those first few battles I fought. I fought against the southern tribes. They were simple.

But this man. He's something else I'll tell you. Another notch on the belt I guess in the end. We move out at sunset. Maybe we can beat him to the catch.

The General smiled. He blew a smoke ring. The blood would flow. The sun would rise. They would move and the new light would be shown.

 nice story

To: Tibet

Your concern simply cannot be met. It is not feasible. If you wish to deny a referendum, Tibet will remain under Chinese control.

To: The Imperial Republic of China

If your majesty so insists on holding the referendum in the cities, then it shall be so. We have no wish to deny the referendum from being held. Long live China and Tibet!

Those were the assassins not the warlords to the north.
That is not elaborated anywhere, it's just "king killed his enemies" Thus I assume that all of them were killed. Q.E.D.

das did you get/accept my orders.. not for the last update that just went, but for this one... next wednesday...

Yes.

NO!

This turn however, things shall be much much more interesting

Quite... But I still don't understand why Vaduz.

Andis, he obviously killed the ones that he could physically reach, while the warlords were far in the north.

Good. At last someone cleared that up.

So that shows your king betrayed the former King because he was a warlord in the north who became a Seperatist with his troops and formed a clan.

Maybe he did. But how does that effect anything? You still attacked Sennar, causing it to collapse. You are the one to blame for all this.

lurker's comment: As a neutral personw hat i saw was....

1. North Sennar becomes ruled by warlords, and Christian South Sennar asks for Abysinnian Aid, which they give, and Ab put them under their protection

2. Peace talks break down becaus no one is willing to compromise

3. Warlord takes power, throws all caution to the wind. The Ottomans get involved, and the Abysinnians get far too agressive. War continues

I am willing to negotiate peace terms but Iw ill not withdraw from the southern providences. I am willing however to negotiate the holding of the city of Sennar.
But I will not be paying any reperations as of this point. I am willing to negotiate. I wish for the Ottomans to support me in this strive for peace. 5 eco points is ridiculous. There is no way ?I am paying that.
