Orders Sent!

‘Father, Father tell me the story about the Lion and the Bear again.’

‘Well Hernandez, a long time ago there was a furious bear that lived in the north. One day, it saw its prey in the south. His prey was a bird, and when he went after the bird, he attacked it and took its nest. The bear snatched the eggs, and then proceeded to move in for the kill against the bird. Little did the bear know that the noble Lion was there to protect the bird, and when the bear confronted the lion and demanded they leave, the Lion held steadfast and didn’t budge. The bear was furious and backed down because he knew he picked a fight with a too worthy opponent. The bear retreated to the north, and in his anger ate one of the eggs, the rest were scattered on the ground, soon new birds were hatched out of the eggs, and the lion returned to the west where the pride and nobility of his herd was protected.’

The little kid thanked his father and ran off to play with his friends.

The story of the Lion and the Bear had long been a part of Spanish folklore originating in the middle ages. A story told to children that a person who is noble and stands up for his beliefs will always win, even if they are facing a furious adversary. It has become a favorite throughout the ages, and the lion is represented on the Spanish flag as a symbol of Spain.

OOC: If you ask me, that's obviously a satire about the Spanish Lion and the Russian Bear :p

What ever gave you that idea...;)

And while I think about it, the bird eggs is like the Ottoman Empire! :p Of course conviently you left out any signs of a French symbol... :mischief:

And the bird egg the bear ate resembles Romania...

Can't fit everyone in.

Technically the lion didn't make the bear retreat by itself. It should be some animal which stood by and let the bear attack the nest without doing anything, only standing up together with the lion against the bear when the bear try to attack the bird itself.

It's obvious that conehead is trying to claim all the credit... :mischief:

And then the French hunter, dressed in the finest of riding uniforms and walking in the finest of hunting boots, came in with his rifle and speared the bear, cooked it, and was content.

;)

Orders to be sent in the wee hours of the morning. Please excuse me if they are a few minutes late.

Hey, it's my satire....

I changed it to the Lion, as the bear is in its cave hibernating for now ;)

Then the Spaniard shot the Frenchman for his replusive body odor and the world rejoiced because they could breathe again.

Orders sent. Long Live China!

For anybody wondering, PM box cleaned.
