I can't see the map it doesn't open. But I agree in theory though I would like to agree to final borders with GEAR.

Though a nonsignatory, the Islamic Caliphate heartily endorses the Treaty of Turku, and wishes to enquire if a separate treaty will be signed to determine the fate of the Byzantine Empire.

From: The Islamic Caliphate
To: The Byzantine Empire (NPC)

We wish to casually enquire whether, in light of Russia's unconditional surrender, you will continue your belligerancy against the coalition arranged against you.

Tolun Khan of the Mongol Empire signs the treaty

OOC: Doesn't GEAR hold land further west of me....?

Lurker's Comment: Yes, I am a pathetic and hopeless rebel movement doomed to defeat for the sole reason that I'm not even in this nes :p
Then why are you even talking? :) You know I trust you least of anybody. You shouldn't toy with the paranoid.

No, but my point is, the HRE has been repeatedly attacked by rebels. I don't even know how many anymore, it's been well over a dozen. Multiple players, including but not limited to ~Darkening~ and Grandmaster, have dedicated themselves to the HRE's destruction. Others simply keep on trying, no matter how many times they're brutally slaughtered. Why? In many cases, it's simply because the HRE is the biggest. There has not been one rebel movement in the Russian Union. Not one in the EUA. Not one in the Japanese Empire. It's been sad. The FK never had it as bad in its worst nightmares. The only other nation that ever got it anywhere near as bad was the PUAF, and it got a stupidly high number all at once too.

Now GEAR is the biggest. I expect them to start coming out of the woodwork. And by god, if they do, I will strike down upon them with great vengeance and furious anger, and there won't be a single soul left when I'm done, because I won't stand for that kind of crap. Story made short, rebel movements are now cliché in the extreme, and those who can't move on to something better, or won't bother to do anything unique other than "dur, lets attack da biggast supapowa" deserve whatever horrible beating happens to them.

@Silver Yeah. I swear I sent a PM regarding that, and Tibet, and it's not in my sent box. Goddamnit. I'll resend it shortly...

And since I'm on a tirade:

@Harleqin 24 Hours is enough time to get a reply and formulate a response. It's the ass end of the continent. Make up your mind.

no, its because the HRE has so many colonies in different parts of the world, where people want to have nations. you only control asia

@Sym- My rationale for a rebellion in Canada was simply to recreate my own nation in a NES, which I thought would be quite interesting.

Though I agree. The other powers are sadly lacking in rebel movements. :p

Gah! Thats the sole reason I didn't want to be associated with Second World War for. As I explained in some other plan, I do not care about ending France. I did what I did becuase I had to do what I had to do. As I was saying, I was losing confidence, and was engulfed by France. And despite it all, that still isn't reason I attacked. Ever wonder why I didn't attack France along with everyone else that first turn?

I was left out- ignored until after the turn and they had begun fighting. Sure- it would make a hell of alot of since if they had came to me first, they didn't. So why did I make my move even through I knew there was little chance? Becuase I had a secret defensive alliance with the other two African nations, that basically stated "all for one", and I care about my word. I was planning for my own death anyways, its unavoidable.

The Islamic Caliphate wishes to issue a border proposal on the future status of the Byzantine Empire. Please note that the changes do not take any border redrawings by the Treaty of Turku into account.

As you can see, the regions of Palestine, Syria, and Jordan are placed under the dominion of the Islamic Caliphate.

Cyprus, Crete, and the Aegean islands are ceded to the Holy Roman Empire, as is the area of Constantinople.

A new, independent state of Turkey is to be created, with the system of government to be decided by popular referendum. We also propose that the former Byzantine Empire be restricted to Greece, and its government dismantled, with a new government to be instituted by the Holy Roman Empire.

As for the areas north of Greece, the Caliphate has little concern; but they have been placed within the borders of the Union of Krakow. Bulgaria, Romania, and the Slavic provinces might choose to become constituent nations in the Union of Krakow, or seek independence, though these are only our suggestions. Our only two main concerns are the protection of Palestine and the establishment of Turkey as a nation.

We do not agree to this. The Islamic Caliphate has barely contributed at all to the war effort.

It is our intention that the Byzantine Empire be absorbed by the Holy Roman Empire. This includes Greece and Anatolia. We shall not allow a nation which has thusfar contributed but a slight amount to dictate to us what the terms will or will not be and we shall divide the Byzantine Empire as we see fit.
