@Kol.7, im still not sure what to do about land plants going back into the sea. I don't want to make it impossible, though.

Also, I found a horiffic and dispicable mistake in the stats... The Dome z.b was evolved from the burrowing z.b not the mountain z.b.

Yeah there's another problem with this NES where 'cold resistance' wasnt needed to live in the deep ocean, just 'pressure resistance'. Maybe we can assume pressure resistance kinda covers both areas, but cold resistance is still needed for cold shallow waters. So yes, that would be useful

ya i meant cold resistance for the shallows cuz the adult form lives by superheated vents so they aren't really suited to the cold water, they'd probably freeze xP oh and i asume since these guys are plants that don't get light they're doing chemosynthesis, right? or should i put that in a future evolution? cuz thats what mineral eating would imply, right?

Yes it would be chemosynthesis, but dont want to get technical, seems like you know a lot more about biology and chemistry than I do

'Plant' in this NES just means anything that doesn't move (much) in its adult form. Thats just for simplicity, I know its not really logical!

Yeah that will put a whole new twist on the creatures, my creature will have to undergo alot of new changes possibly to survive against not only predators but also the other herbivores out there... we'll just have to wait and see!

Yes, your guys, being on a continent with fewer predators, will have the luxury of focusing more on being efficient herbivores, while mine will have to focus more on defense.

Yes, but it's rare that a species get predated to extinction, unless it's in combination with heavy competition from more similar animals.

Wasn't suggesting their extinction. I was suggesting the growth of your defensivly adapted species due to reduction in predation. Unless a specialized predator develops specificly to your herbivore.

i wish i was born live i hated having to break out of that egg was tiring for a little baby you know that spent how ever many months cooped up in there, really got out of shape, then suddenly i had to force my way out of the shell, really sapped me

By the way, i just noted that there was a '[' in the last update text that was supposed to be a 'p'. The seatupler digs deep pits, not '[its'. Im not exactly sure what a [it is.

oh ok thanks for that, so i can just leave live young at one right? but if i make it higher does that raise the chance of the survival rate of the babies?

alright, i realized that i had removed 5 genes (x1 flesh eating, x1 eating dead things, x3 claws) so i took out only the x3 claws. So it is not quite a full time herbivore yet, however maybe in the next era you will find that it no longer can handle flesh/meat in its digestive track and lose all needs for eating meat... hmmm yeah but it may not either, you'll just have to wait and see what happens to my creature! haha
