Sorry, just as I settled in to get to merging my daughter got sick (not covid, thankfully, but she's been home with me all week). It's hard to do fun stuff like mod merging while keeping a 4yo occupied! :)

And I wanted to beta test the latest changes anyway, I suspected there'd be a few issues :)
 
Hotfix posted. Fixes human players not gaining any GPP points.

Only partially savegame compatible, it is highly recommended to start a new game.

(Was an issue with the changes to the city citizen management for AI players; thanks to Milae for finding it)

Not that the HF did succeed out giving me GPP for my specialist, but NOT the passive points for wonders and things.

CS quest to capture a city bugged. Captured city they requested and didnt get any rewards and the city they requested's name had disappeared from the quest and the quest disappeared the following turn.
 
CS quest to destroy barb camp also bugged. Destroy barb camp (same one requested by 2 CS) , no reward in either CS, quest disappears from both CS.
 
CS quest issue and canals not always working are both fixed (thanks ilteroi), will post another hotfix soon. Trying to figure out the impossible AI peace deals right now.
 
Hotfix 2 posted. Fixes City-State quests not working on reload, fixes canals not always working, removes unused code, a few small adjustments to diplomacy, adds in some changes from @HungryForFood.

Unfortunately the fix for these issues is not savegame compatible, you will have to start a new game. The trials of beta versions :mad:

Amazing work, as always!

Having to abandon a good game occasionally is an easy trade-off for the consistent updates you and the team provides.

I agree with the One & Unly : the first few days after beta release are always unruly, but that's part of the deal, and participating in making sure each version is quickly washed off of the problems that always arise from big changes isn't a chore at all. Participating in VP is full of small tasks, but we care so it's no problem (at least for me).

By the way, by "few small adjustements to diploacy", do you mean the "impossible peace after city conquest" problem ? I just had it this afternoon, so if it isn't resolved yet I can always begin a fast game with logging enabled to reproduce the problem and send it out on github.

That probably isn't fixed yet, I have yet to identify the cause of the problem.
 
Just got the latest hotfix. Now I get a CTD on reload. I'll post the savegame on Github.
 
I created bug report. The game was saved using hotfix2. It will not open with hotfix2.
 
Seems to be an issue with saving/loading now. Guess we'll need a third hotfix...
