I'm also having an issue with the AI not accepting peace deals *when they suggest them*

The key thing here is that the AI is ready to surrender, and approaches the player with terms. If you hit accept, they decline, just like the old bug, and won't accept anything you suggest. However, once the player's turn rolls around, in my experience, you can ask the AI for peace and they'll accept.

So it's half fixed, as long as you're willing to wait until your turn to make peace :p I don't have a relevant save file right now, but I'm playing a Swedish game so I'm sure something will come up soon. When it does, I'll post a save here for reference.

Not that it helps much, but it just happened to me again today, screen shot:

Minimum war durations has been a positive thing for the game IMO.
Really? It seems odd to force the AI to continue fighting even when they've already lost completely. Having to sit around for five turns waiting for a timer to tick down sounds far more "gamey" than anything else I've seen that word thrown at lately. My second suggestion would be better if possible because it would fix that issue without allowing the old "instant peace" exploit that the minimum turn thing was probably added to fix.

I agree. Having a hard set limit the AI is forced to wait puts the AI at a disadvantage. You can have it's capital city surrounded and down to red. Nope, not going to stop fighting... It would be nice, if possible, if the AI just weighed war heavier during this "time" rather than refusing peace regardless what state it's in.

Minimum war durations has been a positive thing for the game IMO. I just don't believe warscore decay should be active while the AI won't make peace.

It's probably not actually the decay that is causing this shift, but rather changing AI valuation of the war's status. I'm going to be making some changes to the modeling in the next few versions, hopefully.

As a Not-Inca civ, I cannot move on mountains (with roads).
Not even if coming from a roaded tile.
Will create Github-report later.

Does anybody else have an issue with the new happiness mouseover-help in the city view? It doesn`t tell me anything anymore. I can still get the old info (amount of onhappness point from each source) from the city-bar mouseover in the global view. But inside the city screen it`s very confusing.

Other than that, you guys did such an amazing job with city-states - it deserves it`s own threat. Hat off!

Mountains aren't blocking LoS to units on hills.

I'm on the hotfix but it's not a new game.

One quirk I've noticed: I was clearing a jungle to get to Oranges underneath, as soon as I cleared it I got the luxury, without actually building the plantation.

Also, is there any way I can manually slow down research speeds? I've tried changing the XML values in assets\Gameplay\XML\GameInfo\ CIV5gamespeeds.xml but did this didn't change anything.
Is this action not save game compatible? Do I have to start a new game to see the effects? Or is it somehow overriden by the CBP?

I know changing the costs in TechCostChanges.sql works.

In my experience changes to .sql files will be save game compatible but changes to .xml files won't. Someone who actually knows this stuff, please correct me :D

Do you know where I can find that file?

Religious pressure seems like it has become even less useful. I have to keep buying missionaries and spreading to cities that have my religion to fight religious unhappiness, even when I've converted every city on the continent. This is on a Large map at Epic speed. Roads between all the cities, Pagoda building, no Piety. Seems as if I have to do my best to pack my cities as tight as possible, because of the gradient drop off, rather than settling for best spot even if it means having 6 to 8 tiles between cities.

Hm, nothing showed up when I tested it - that was my first thought.

Here you go. Import the MachuPicchu.fxsxml and MachuPicchu.gr2 files into VFS, add CBP_IncaFunctions.lua as an InGameAddin, and CBP_Improvements.sql as a database update. But you know this :p

It will automatically place a dummy improvement beneath an Incan city founded on a mountain, provided the user has the leader changes active. It doesn't look as good on the brown mountains, but maybe someone with art skills can do a retexture one day.

Alright, so I've played around with this, and I can't get it to do anything. All setup as per your instructions (which are old hat), but the graphic doesn't seem to be popping up. Not usually a problem in this situation. I assume I need the artdefine_landmarktype data for this, but I'm also not sure how you've set this up, specifically.

Are you sure it wasn't something else like a trade deal expiration or allying a CS with citruses? Also, perhaps you've got a save for when that happened?

I'm really trying to make this work, but I have not tried manually installing a beta before, and I can't seem find a guide that explains it properly.

I want to play with EUI, so I put the UI_bc1 folder in the DLC-folder instead of the old UI_bc1 folder. Correct?

Then I put everything else into the MODS folder. Then I delete the LUA folders in (1) Community Patch and (2) Community Balance Patch.
What do I do with (6) Community Balance Patch - Compatibility Files (EUI) ? Do I also delete LUA from that one? Or do I put the files from this one into (2) ?

thanks in advance.

The install guide linked to only does the auto install, so I'll respond real quick.

Don't delete the LUA in Compatibility, no. Leave Compatibility as is.
