I was at war with austria, I think they managed to get Indonesia to declare war on me (I *think* I saw a popup telling me they brokered something, not sure about that).
So during AI turn, declaration of war. Beginning of my turn : Indonesia proposes a Declaration of friendship, and accept my "yes" as an answer.

Edit ; It also looks like the AI is not building improvements correctly : Austria had 6 non used jades. They actually used none of them ! Even worse, they choosed a pantheon focused on improved mines ...
It seems that it's the case with all the other civs : luxuries are not used

Nope. I'm using the modpack provided by Lynne however, it may come from that ?

There are also some diplomacy oddities like the AI proposing empty gift panel, I can only refuse (which piss them off apparently). Or like this : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=623247923

This is simply because our friendship ended just before.

Bug - taking a Settler from someone after deciding to declare a war by moving on the tile makes it remain a settler, also no indication that it ever belonged to somebody else. I really enjoyed my freebie settler from Gandhi

This happened to me in the 10 feb beta too

Diplo stuff is, unfortunately, related to the modpack (I believe) - I cannot replicate it, and the users that report it are always using the modpack.

Anyways, a last minute change I made to builderAI goofed their resource improvement. Expect a hotfix soon.

Ok. Diplomatic small diplo quircks are not a big deal, you basically have to refuse, make a declaration of friendship again, and then relaunch a deal.
It looks to me like their proposition always come 1 turn later than it should : they don't calculate the current diplomatic status, they are always one turn late.

What about the congress ?

Can't reproduce (been reported before, but by modpack users). Like I said, I think something breaks with modpacks. Not sure what, but it's nigh-impossible to diagnose.

I have a game going with 2/13 mod pack. I have found a bug I think. I am playing Assyria and when my friendship expires with my neighbour Marocco i get a CTD when I go in and offer a new declaration of friendship with him. If he reoffers there are no crash. But 3 times this has happened now. I think I have logs one but not sure what log you want for this.?

And yes I have removed the MP modpack from DLC before starting this game.

Gomer_Pyle ; ModPack = the package created for MP games, just to clarify.

Isn't there any logs or anything that could help when playing the mod pack ? I understand that MP issues are hard to debug, especially with desyncs, bug solo games may be easier (and it may help for MP too).

I won't report any diplo bug with modpack from now on, I'll focus on others :).

@Gomer: When you refer to the CPP installer/ manual install (the mods you launch using the ingame mod menu) it will cause confusion when you call it 'modpack'. I also had some trouble understanding your concern in the modpack-thread. 'Modpacks' are the complete folders you copy over to your DLC folder, the mod you download from Gazebo's thread and launch via the mod menu is.. well.. the 'mod'. ;)

You can report it, but any users using the modpacks should report those bugs to the modpacks thread, not elsewhere (as the issues most likely lie in the modpack model itself).

Hmm.. may I add, that I was always playing the CP as a modpack (long before we started the modpack-thread), and I never had any diplo errors (at least none that only happened to me).

Plus I also played with the modpacked VMC for countless hours now, and diplomacy was always working 100 (not 99, not 99.9, but 100) percent!

So I can tell for sure, that modpacks don't break anything with the diplomacy (or anything else) per se. Of course they might be the origin for errors, I just want to say that diplomacy can work very well when you use a modpack. Maybe modpack users just tend to report their experiences with the latest patches more often? :)
So imo you should not stop reporting any bugs you find.

Which bugs are you talking about specifically?
The ones I reported a few days ago? iirc they also happened to me only once in a whole game and I could not reproduce them either, they were very random. :(
 
Now I am confused... I downloaded the beta (aka the mod) from the betafolder in the first post of this thread. Then I thought it made sense to report a issue I encountered when using it in here. (Did a clean install and deleted cache,logs, moduserdata and UI_bc1 before installing this mod.

It seems the game is giving me CTD all the time now. So I will start a new game tomorrow and see if this issue happens again.
 
PS: The open borders bug I reported (AIs offered something for open borders while open borders agreement was in place) in the bug reports thread is gone now, as far as I can tell. But I will test everything a bit more and keep you updated.
 
Amphitheater, Opera House, and Museum buffed:

+33% to their respective GP specialists (Writer, Musician, Artist), and each one built boosts the Gold of their respective guilds by +1 (stacking global bonus)

Shuffled some tech yield buffs around late game (moved musician and embassy off of globalization)
Musician base culture improved by 1
