I can't wait unntil the vikings appear in next expansion. Then we have more stuff to use for the mod as well.

My guess for the berserk unit is this: Substitutes maceman (can't know of any macemen in scandinavia - and it's the right era): Strength 9 and ambibious promotion.

This is very embarassing, and I really apologice to you all.
I've been neglecting this mod and didn't have the brains to tell you people that I was not working on it at the moment. Thus: Keeping you waiting for no reason and I am sorry.

But now that I've gotten my game back from a friend that borrowed it and is already working on finishing the mod, although I will not give any dates.

Working on implementing a few other civs as well, but their ID is a secret.

That would be great! I'd love to see norway in Civ Gold. So yay to that!

Civ Gold!! Cool! Bit I ain't got no animated leaderheads. Just stills. But the civilopedia entries are pretty long and good. UU's graphics is coming along well too.

I guess that in a weeks time I will be ready to get testers for the mod that will be Modern Norway, 3 Reich ( the nazis ) and post '47 Israel.
The graphics are all done, just a few hours with xmlcoding and debugging left. Well, atleast thats what I think at the moment.

According to this mod norway will be good at defending and having more gold at plains with two Coins on it. Well in the REAL world norway finance is standing becuse of the oil, basicly. Norway is digging up oil for million of dollars and thats a strenght worth this mod!

If possible Norway should have a bigger chance of finding oil, or producing 100% more oil from a oil rig. (getting two oil recourses from one)I dont think this will make Norway too strong compared to any other civ. Norway too got some good ships but few. I dont think Norway should have better ships, just unique.

This is my ideas. Wreck them or use them, i would love to test your mod ASAP!

You are right on your asessment of norway and the reason for it's financial trait. And I'd really liked to achieve the plan you outlined with more out of every oilresource on the map, but I could not find out how to do it, sadly.

About getting it ready ASAP, I will start debugging it when this busy weekend is over, and bring in some testers to check it for strange AI behaviour etc....
Once they are done I will add the improved 3D leaderheads ( currently just 2D ), fix whatever testing revealed and probably that's it.

It is taking time but that is because I've got house, wife, kids, job and then just a few hours in the evening with the computer. But I'd really liked to see it done soon as well.

Strange actually that nobody has made a naziciv yet, but I'm getting there. Just need to get Hitlers AI right and our favourite FPS cannonfodder is ripe for the slaughtering.

Just a quick reply to the naziciv thing. I think people are arfraid of making a nazi sim. I rememberd i said the word "Nazi" on holiday when i was young(er). My parents got really mad at telling me not to mention it and that it is a national word. But south they cant even mention the word mafia without regreting at the night. Therefor I dont find that very strange.

All right. Debugging is coming along fine, although the process of getting it 1.61 compatible made it more difficult.

However, I've decided that the mod Modern Norway has crawled up and died in some dark corner. This mod, together with the two other civ's I've worked on will be resurrected in " Jorrtapp's Mod " which I will create a new thread for in this forum.
