I like his look. I don't play the normal game enough to notice a difference, but he looks cool. Is that a different (longer) sword?

New Sword (very long sword) , New Helmet (The helmet with round circle) . New Clothes (Chain Mail with team color cross) , New Shield (with team color cross) , New animation (Swordsman)

Since no one really responding with good or bad comments Ill post some more pics and hope some do.

Excellent work. The differences make this one more closely resemble the style of attire and armor eventually adopted by the Christian conquerors of the holy land.

The Europeans learned the hard way that their native style of armor was impractical in the arid/desert conditions of the middle east--both through heatstroke and inferior mobility--and gradually created a fusion of European and Arab military elements.

This unit reflects the historical facts well. In a crusades-themed scenario, this unit could function as an upgrade to basic European infantry. Good job.

Thankyou and yes Im currently working on a pretty big project that I had scrapped for awhile because I had a daughter in May and that took up most my time. So now I got warlords and Im a little addicted but the MOD Im working on will be one major overhaul and then many little scenarios that will take place in different periods and times and one will def. be the Crusades. Thats why I ask if anybody wants to make a button for this unit please go ahead. PM me and I would even do some unit work for you.

Yea i like it, must be cause of my texture and my nifedited Maceman, but that addition of the shield to the head is excellent ;)

nice work cafegio.

and for everyone, you can find more of that in my medieval units construction kit to construct your own units like that ;)

seZereth - yes should have given credit for the amazing skinning job on the unit. Your kit is awesome and with the proper pieces we could make a ton of units.

Thankyou Im trying , I have a ton of stuff in folders that I never finished so I will be releasing alot of stuff I hope.

The hat looks much better in game. Its an old english helm that Ive seen in movies like Kingdom of Heaven and Braveheart.

no problem, i am glad at least one person uses the kit ;) keep on creating and if you need another texture, tell me ;) !!!

I like it... Especially the Hat! :goodjob:

Im gonna use it for my customs Civ's UU :D

not that anyone cares I will reskin it since it's not a "holy" unit :mischief:

but sorry I didnt post earlier, But I just discovered this image!

Really like this unit, I wonder if you could make an english crossbow unit with this hat and the english torso from the medieval construction kit.

I could thats the beauty of the kit. Everything we need to make some midievel units is at our hands. Go to give seZereth the credit for taking the time to put some quality work out there to help us modders.

Im a little busy with some work for someone else right now so as soon as I get a chance I will.

Nice unit, you HAVE to ditch the hat, he looks like Kung Lao from the Mortal Kombat games... the helmet you are referring too has nowhere near that size brim... also, the sword is WAY too long, it's too long even for a two handed sword. It'd be unwieldable.

Venger
P.S. I'd add a cape if you could...

Nice unit, but one remark: the sword seems to long to handle single-handed, it look more like one of those broadswoards knights had to use two-handed.

Edit: Oh, just saw Venger make the same remark.

Looks nice. Even though no man could ever use that large sword with one hand.
