New Mafia Hosting Queue

Please remove my Star Wars/LOTR game from queue, and move Zack Mafia III to the bottom of the queue.

Also, I'm thinking of changing that rule to "don't post here unless you want to host a game OR talk about improving the queue".

You might as well take it out entirely. It's not like it was ever followed.

Progress: It's really not much more than an idea at this point.

PAIRED MAFIA GAME

It would be almost vanilla mafia. But, all players would be in pairs. So, every one townie will know identity of one other townie. At start of the game, there would be no power roles, only townies and mafia. But, when one player from a pair dies, the other would get a role. This roles would be limited (for example: rather one-shot vigilante than "full vigilante"). Also mafia will get more powerful when one of them dies (but only slightly)

I've cleaned up the the small games queue a bit. I've put Paired Mafia ahead of Wild Wild West because Jarrema asked the game to go on the queue AGES ago. Fallout: Vault 11 is still on the list however it is possible that it won't happen so Jarrema is on call.

I've added a new Snakes and Foxes category. I'm not sure what exactly is happening with this stuff, but I'm going to go ahead and make an executive decision and say that a Snakes and Foxes will not be hosted until at least February next year. The reason why I say this is because Christmas sucks away lots of people's Civving time and it seems like Mafia numbers plummet as a result.

The Snakes and Foxes issue needs to be discussed more in depth, but this is what is going to happen for now.

That's silly. You can't arbitrate when Snakes and Foxes are hosted. What's next? Are you going to start saying when NOTWs can be hosted, when mafia games on the org can be hosted?

I don't think you realize this, NinjaCow, but you don't really have any power other than organization. You can't do anything without the approval of the community. You're an organizer, not a dictator. No offense or anything, of course, that's just how the job works (and I would know, I had it for years).

Did a quick check back - CivGeneral put that Fallout game onto remake's queue, back in December 2010, and hasn't mentioned it in any posterior queues. Unless NinjaCow has received any assurance from CivG that he's ready to host, preference should probably be given to Jarrema who has a game ready and is willing to host.

Incidentally, I'm not going to be able to host that Snakes and Foxes game at any time before February anyway so that rule doesn't bother me.
