I was wondering if anyone would like to help me make a map of the eastern hemisphere, the reason for this is because I think it would be great for a lot of different scenarios (such as imperialism of Asia, both the world war {I know it would not include America, but once the editor is finished that would be no problem}) I am very surprised that this has not been made yet (if someone knows where it exist please tell me) and think it would encompass enough terrain to make the game divers but still allow for Europa to be big enough to have a major role as opposed to the 10 cities at tops that can fit there on the world map.

Hey MC,

I think the idea of the map is good, but what I really dislike is that it's quite "plain" or "undetailed". I mean, you did the surface of the earth quite right, but somehow there are too many vast areas of one single terrain. Why don't you put a single forest into India? I mean, they do have trees there... I always prefer maps that kinda simulate the landscape of the area by placing forests here and there, you know.

Also, no Grassland has any bonus! I'd never play that map! <g>

SORRY! Forgot to mention I don't put resources in (I normally get that kind of stuff wrong) In India, there's the Thar Desert, which is why theres no forest, but I suppose I could've put some up at Kashmir and central Pakistan. As for the plain terrain, if you want I'll do another version with resources, and more varied terrain, but I'll only do that if I know people would want it (otherwise it's not worth time).

Anyway, if you have any ideas for improvements, pleeze tell me, and if there's enough interest I'll do another version (it would'nt take too long).

Just found this map. Excellent!

I've converted it to PTW and added starting locations for 12 civs: Rome, Egypt, Greece, Babylon, India, Persia Carthage, Israel (America), the Goths (Scandinavia), the Turks (Ottomans), the Celts and the Arabs.
