It started out as just a few unit adds and a wonder or two, and little by little it's expanded into a bigger idea..

There's about:
25 new great Wonders/small Wonders
30 or so new units
5 new techs (the whole tech tree thing is too tedious for me)
and about 5 new improvements
2 new govt's (Fascism and Fundamentalism)

I'm usually very self critical, and if I make a pile of sh*t, I call it that before anyone can, but in the games I've played so far , I've noticed that you can really either win through strong diplomacy, trade, science and culture OR you can conquer with strong military and harsh diplomacy.

I've also tried to make the civs distinguishable by adding a mix of unique units through the periods, as well as added small wonders that are resource/luxury/bonus specific, as well as unique in ideas, with all new splash screens....anyhow I know my fellow Civ'ers will enjoy what I'm trying to create.

Here's a few Wonders I've added(feel free to borrow any ideas)

So let me know what you think so far
It's all pretty much done, just need to test more, tune and
maybe add a bit more

Don't forget that the Germans also played a large part in the Crusades (i.e. Frederick Barbarossa and his son Frederick of Swabia).

I like the idea of the 101st Airborne (but I think that the veterans of the 82nd will be a bit miffed!).

I think it looks good, but I don't understand why you have Roman Calvary up there? The Romans themselves from the Republic to the Imperial days always were weak in the form of calvary. Infact one of the many reasons for the decline and fall of Rome was because of their heavy reliance on heavy infantry (which by the times of the invasion of the asiatic tribes, calvary was the premier form of attack). The Roman calvary was almost always provided by allies, and were often at the mercy of their counterparts. Perhaps the greatest calvary that existed in the ancient world were the companions of Alexanders Greece, or the Numidians of Northern Africa. However Rome's greatest strength were in her legions of heavy infantry.

Is there a way to rip animations from Call to Power II, or AOE, AOK? anyone knows what file format the animations are, and if they're convertable?

I guess making an animation from scratch would be time consuming, but it would be helpful..

another thing, anyone know the limit of wonders you can add?

I think there should be a great assortment of small wonders, to fit what resources you have, and capitalize on them, as in the real world.
