Which affects your relationship, which affects the game. Agendas are bad enough when they apply one way.It doesn’t affect what you do. It affects your game bonuses to Relationship stat.

Exactly it affects the game, not what you Do.Which affects your relationship, which affects the game. Agendas are bad enough when they apply one way.
I don't want my leader to count. I don't like the Mortal Kombat diplomacy, I don't like being forced to "be" [insert leader here] rather than just taking [insert leader]'s bonuses. I know Firaxis is pushing the narrative that "you are Hatshepsut!," but I've never approached the game that way. I plan to mod out as many of the things they've implemented to push that narrative as possible, hopefully starting with Mortal Kombat diplomacy. The AI leader and its personality is very important, but the player's leader should just be a gameplay bonus and that's it.If Agendas are for everyone then your Leader and their gameplay counts.

The agenda Is just a (mixed) bonus. it makes some things cheaper and other things more expensive. The AI leader and its personality is very important, but the player's leader should just be a gameplay bonus and that's it.
Rotating a leader animation 90 degrees and getting rid of the other one seems plausible enough, right?I plan to mod out as many of the things they've implemented to push that narrative as possible, hopefully starting with Mortal Kombat diplomacy.
Replace the left side with an inanimate object, like a television, so Hatshepsut just looks like she’s yelling at the TV.Rotating a leader animation 90 degrees and getting rid of the other one seems plausible enough, right?
I would think so. We see the leader head-on in the leader introduction screen so it seems like it should be doable. And the player's leader just yells at them from off screen.Rotating a leader animation 90 degrees and getting rid of the other one seems plausible enough, right?
Ridiculous. France alone is not Europe.please, we already got normandy
too many france associated civs and leaders, we really need more indigenous americas, africa, asia and oceania in dlc since its too late to correct that mistake now.
besides the fact that this is inherently a eurocentric view, notice i complained about france and not europe.Ridiculous. France alone is not Europe.
Europe has been central to world history for two thousand years and it is vastly underrepresented for a game about world history and civilizations.
No need. From the live streams, the only time you see your own leader in the diplomacy screen is on first meet and DOW, so very rarely.Replace the left side with an inanimate object, like a television, so Hatshepsut just looks like she’s yelling at the TV.
I don’t think this is the case?No need. From the live streams, the only time you see your own leader in the diplomacy screen is on first meet and DOW, so very rarely.
I believe we've also seen it when an Endeavor is offered. No need. From the live streams, the only time you see your own leader in the diplomacy screen is on first meet and DOW, so very rarely.
Do you have a screenshot of what diplomacy looks like when you are not in the screen? No need. From the live streams, the only time you see your own leader in the diplomacy screen is on first meet and DOW, so very rarely.

Hm, perhaps it’s only when the AI approaches the player, then? I confess I don’t recall the AI doing that once during the streams.I believe we've also seen it when an Endeavor is offered.
See above.I don’t think this is the case?
Machiavelli offers a deal at least once in the Modern Age stream, and it has both visible.Hm, perhaps it’s only when the AI approaches the player, then? I confess I don’t recall the AI doing that once during the streams.
It’s definitely the case that that when you approach the AI the diplomacy menu hides your leader. See 31:00 on the Modern Age stream for an example.
See above.
It’s the diplomacy options screen covering it up. See 31:00 on the Modern Age stream for an example. Are you sure that menu bar isn't just temporarily covering you up?
Ah, I’ll take a look, thanks.Machiavelli offers a deal at least once in the Modern Age stream, and it has both visible.
