I don't get these polls. Why don't people just start the kind of nesses they feel like. That's what I would do. And will, once I get net access to my flat. Which is never, propably.
Btw, Royal, perhaps it would be wise for you to get a little more nessing experience before starting one of your own?
We generally think that someone should have a bit more NESing experience than you do before moderating. It'll be better for everybody. Also, we have a bunch of NESes starting up right now, and this wouldn't get much interest.
Most of us view those "other" sites as Heretics as we are the One True Faith
Seriously, the ways that things are done could be different between here and the other forums. Thus if you start a nes based on the rules from your old site, you could probably scare everyone who doesn't have the slightest clue of what your nes is like. Join some neses here and see if there's any difference first.
One possible example of an intersite rule variation, if I'm reading you correctly. Around these parts, its OK to join an NES thats in-progress, so long as its got an open spot. Two new fresh-start games just got up and running (Israelite's and NK's), each of which is only an update or two in -- you could try joining one of those, as an existing NPC, or by founding a new nation.
Join my NES, IsrNES! It is in my sig. Join as one of the powerful NPC's of China, or as Phoenicia, or start your own nation! Things haven't really started off yet so if you don;t like joining a NES that is under way, no problem. The only war is an NPC started war in Egypt, other than that everything is peaceful in the Isr World. But who knows, maybe you could eb the one that stirs things up! So join now, or forever languish by the roadside! J/K, you could always join later, but join and have lots of fun!
Thank you, CABAL. There are, strangely, too many NESes right now. Though, if somebody wants to take a crack at one (and Royal does claim experience elsewhere), I say let them. The proof's in whether it lasts.
