New Phone

Ok, so I was wondering, as I just got the Samsung Eternity from AT&T, how many of you would prefer these other phones? I wanted the IPhone, but when my parents found out that it has WiFi, they wouldn’t let me get it. :(

Why wouldn't the let you get a wifi phone?

Apparently, they’re afraid of something I’m gonna do on the Net, though the worst thing that comes to mind are games…

Get the most expensive feature packed shiny flashy phone you can afford regardless of whether the cheapest one there has all the features you need, c'mon man, be a true American.

Mine was $15, it doesn't even have speaker, but whatever. I kind of enjoy getting a break from the Net sometimes.

On the bus so many mofos we're texting & netin' but I actually had a conversation with the girl next to me. :)

I've been Eying the QuickFire for a bit now. I'm waiting for it to either come to Poland or Canada so i (or someone i know in Canada) can get it for me.

Samsung Omnia.

Damn you, AT&T, for not getting it to market yet!

Damn, you, Samsung, for no 3G chip. Even monkeys would have remembered that detail!

The LG Shine is not even in the same league with those others, why put that on the list? I wouldn't buy that TBH. Many people that I know have them, and while they aren't particularly bad, I find them very uncomfortable (not to mention very feminine :)).

I'd choose the Quickfire or Blackberry. The Dare is okay too, though, IMHO.

Oh please, the Iphone is a good phone, it just has loading issues and is a bit overpriced, the music capacity alone makes it worth it for me.

I was once proud of my Spartan phone, it had nothing more than it needed to. When it broke, though, I found they no longer made the model (no surprise, it broke in 2008 and I got it in 1999  ), and was forced to get some of this confangled "camera phone" tomfoolery, so now my phone is all dressed up with nowhere to go! In recent months I've gotten into texting, since my girl does it a lot and we don't go to school in the same town. It has its advantages, but I still prefer good-old-timey face-to-face contact.

A phone needs the ability to make calls, the ability to text, and a camera isn't completely useless. A phone combined with an mp3 player combined with all kinds of other crap is pointless, and a waste of money.
