"Small Europe 1939-1945" :D

So I have been playing small Europe for 24 turns now, and still no crash. Could it have something to do with convoys?

Any chance of putting the Declaration of War 1 turn and 5 turn warnings into the small Europe map?

Also, I noticed that when I had an AA regiment (less than 50% health) in with my infantry (100% health), the attacking ground units were attacking the AA regiment, and not the infantry; however, the bombers were attacking the infantry, rather than being engaged with the AA guns.

Is it possible set it up so that the defending units will use the most appropriate defensive option against the attacker?

Additionaly, when the AA guns did engage the air units, I noticed that the interceptors didn't intercept. Was this done purposefully so that attacking air units didn't get wiped out quickly? As well, the Air Units didn't do any damage to the AA regiment when they engaged.

Or naval units. But the real question is "why it crash for you and not for me ?"

Does this new version work for us Mac users?
No, AFAIK no DLL modding for mac, and I must use the DLL to fix what has been broken in patch .674

Should be in.

Normally the defending unit is the unit that will have the more HP left after the attack on the defending plot. The civ5 mechanism was picking the"best defender" from stats only and did not check for health, so I changed that.

What you describe is strange, shouldnt be this way unless attacked by armor units whith bonus vs infantry.

When attacked by airs, the AA unit should be the target of the attack, resulting in a direct confrontation, unless it's HP are lower than the infantry, at this moment it would be able to intercept the attacker bomber and won't get damage (but then the infantry may).

playing Germany ?

I'll check then :)

Okeedokee,

I've decided to try the 39-45 large map again, and no crashes yet. Touch wood. However, I know I mentioned before that Stalin wasn't very agressive, which he still isn't; however, he was quite agressive in the 39-45 small map. Just so you know.:)

Large 39-45 map still, turn 31. Still no crashes. I have been using the Single Player Quick Combat option while the computer takes its turn.

Damn! Spoke too soon.

The Earth 1936 scenario keeps crashing on turn 3 during the UK's turn. I was playing as the United States.

Gede,

Do you think if I reinstalled, it would fix my problem with the 39-45 large map?

Nope. Didn't work, either. Here's hoping when I get G&K it will clear up the problem.

I can't give no guarantee that it will, I'm pretty sure the problem is elsewhere. But I'd like to have other vanilla civ5 users feedback on this.
