The 600ft tall units will be scaled down first in my book, but they look good and detailed still.

So, How do you know if there are troops guarding the cities? It looks much better without 600ft tall troops steeping over the buildings, anyway. I suppose that if you zoom out, you could see the troops garrison the city, or maybe it is a feature that you can toggle on or off.

good point. they should give u a defensive bonus so it seems that it's more likely that ur garrisoned troops can defend attacks and get upgrades.

Buddhism certainly was founded in India, but it also had played a prominent role in Chinese and other Asian cultures. But that's neither here nor there. To me the conical hat says 'asian farmer' not buddhist. I don't think it is as important for the icon to have particular racial characteristics as it is to bear some typically symbol of the religion or of their "missionaries" (for lack of a better word) . For instance, Christian - cross, Jew - maybe Star of David, Buddhist - perhaps a bald head and a monk's spade, Taoist - Ba-gua diagram and the taoist looking hat which they have, Hindu - not sure, etc

Well they are labeled as to what they are supposed to be. I think the Taoist's (the blue guy) hat need some tassles and the color seems wrong.

I thought Shinto was the Japanese school of Buddhism.

Probably too hard to distinguish it visually from a Bible. For some reason I think a crescent moon might be appropriate.


I looked up Shinto and I guess it's not Buddhist.

One missionary will carry the Bible, another: the Qur'an, and the other... the Torah. I still can't distinguish them. I like the idea of carrying a cross or something, i.e. for Christians.
Are these missionaries or the prophets? If they are Prophets will they have names? Like Abraham, Loud Zoo, Mohammed, etc.?

They arnt prophits. They are missionaries.
As for the pictures I would have to say that they are kinda disapointing. I was hoping for more distingwishing between buildings. I also thought that Great wonders would look well Great. I was hopping for them to be larg and at the edge of the city not the same size as a house and easily mistakeable for one. I was also hopeing for more of a visual diference between culture groups. But I dont want to put down on it. The game will be awsome just it seems sofar to be a letdown.
