GOTM 105 Pre-Game Discussion!

Please Note: This is the Civ3 PTW Game of the Month. It MUST be played using version 1.27f of Civ3 PTW, the last version. If you installed Civ3 Complete, the default game executable is Civ3 Conquests, but you do have access to the Civ3 PTW executable. You may have to navigate into the Civ3PTW directory to start it.

Have a nice vacation, civ_steve!

Moving the settler is not very tempting here. To the north it's all plains and to the south you move away from the water.

yes, have a nice vacation!

but hey, what does a galley @ 40s as a predator obstacle mean? hopefully we´re not again on an island while all the others share their pangaea continent...

Maybe we're being set up for a peaceful game, and we are isolated on the big land mass while the rest of the tribes are on little islands. ;)

The conquest class bonuses suggest we have neighbors, though, and the start location looks far from the ocean.

Why else give them two archers? Barbs won't show up for a while, and two archers seems like overkill for barbs, anyway.

It could be so, but the 40 gold galleys point in the other direction. Then again, the lack of salt water in the starting screen points towards yours.
