And since the Linus QA did not get updated last night says they are going to release them all at once. Which I think is a mistake. If they are ready to go get that out. Makes since from a financial standpoint for both companies also.

I think this is the 1st time we have seen those 2 from aspyr not update within 1 hour of each other with most happening within 30 mins.

I think the Mac had an isolated problem that the Linux didn't have.

This those issues they may just make an executive decision.

I don't think this eliminates the chances of tonight, but it does degrade them. And I doubt they will be able to solve all the issues without overspending on labor what they hope to make in profit. They will have to bite the bullet and release at some point.

Dont play marathon. Patch might hit before you build your first spearman :)

I`ve just spend half an hour updating my mods. Havent played civ 6 for about a month

People build spearmen in this game?

That's always the case, though. There are always known issues upon any update's release.

There goes Linux.

The interesting thing at this point is that the 2K qa builds haven't updated in nearly 36 hours.

Could that be a indication that the Windows version of the patch/DLC is basically ready to go, and that they are ironing out major bugs only present in the Mac and Linux versions?

That's my impression.

Also, the Mac and Linux updates were not symmetrical. Mac only updated game files and Australia. Linux updated those plus Poland and Vikings. This indicates that they are chasing different problems.

Now the only question left could be I'd they release the path separately, for Windows tonight and for Linux and Mac later on. They did this with civ 5 patches, where Aspyr had to release them later on.

I don't know that they would do that when there's a DLC to go with it. The DLC is probably optimized to match with the incoming build not the current one.

At any rate, they may have pushed hard to finish the PC version early for the Livestream while the Mac and Linux are lagging behind.

And now 2K QA D updated. D! They haven't used that one since December.

What does this mean for the patch forecasting? The tea leaves are unclear! :P

They had to add Australia to it. Maybe they are just keeping it up to date. :shifty:

Alright, time to tell the truth, who here uses a mac to play civ? Admit it so we can irrationally blame you for this apparent hold up :p

That would be me. The game plays fantastically on a high-end iMac and I don't seem to have the excessive turn times that others complain about even though I play on huge maps.
