I don't think the Mac QA is the hold up. If it were, we would keep seeing it update as they test fixes.
I would expect to see the DLC get added to more packages (it was also added to a mystery package 8 hours ago) namely the Deluxe Edition and Deluxe Edition Pre-Order packages and for the achievements to get their names.
Now that could happen all at once. I just don't know. But things look too quiet to me.
But to have ALREADY, 2 Greece civs, then you add to it another Greek city state of Sorts, Macedonia. To me doesn't make sense at all. That is way overkill to me. Persia I can understand. I would really smh at that logic.
It's right in there in your and my files though. I actually looked it up to make certain, and yes, there's a list of all the civs in the game, plus Australia, Macedonia and Persia. I'm 100% convinced this guy found the content of the next DLC.
Especially when you add to it the Variety they have added already. From Aussy and Poland. Just don't get that logic. Although id like Persia eventually, just wait for expansion. There are other civs plus more that could be thrown in for unique flavor before Persia. hell, instead of Persia Mix it up and do Iran/Iraq/Saudia Arabia
Because Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia are such superpowers.
/sarcasm
I mean, all three countries are at locations where there've been superpowers. Based in Iran, the superpower was called Persia. Based in Iraq, the superpower was called Babylon. Based in Saudi Arabia, the superpower was called Arabia. The only reason you could call even one of them (Saudi Arabia) a superpower, is because of the power of oil.
I think we're long past the point where a new civ has to be - or have been some time in the past - a super power. I find it only cool and positive that they're adding civs that haven't featured before. (Although I'm not buying more DLC's unless the AI is first improved).
But to add Iran would be to add Italy without adding the Roman Empire. To add Iraq would be nothing but adding a country that's torn apart by wars for most of it's existence (it wasn't Iraq before the 20th century). To add Saudi Arabia... Well, we already got Arabia.
Well I like the idea of having Persia, although I really miss the Babylonians. I agree with you that Saudia Arabia would be kinda obsolete as we already Arabia. Still, I think Macedonia feels kind of obsolete, since we already have Greece twice (call me ignorant though).
I agree that Macedonia + 2x Greece feels a bit too much, even if only because Alexander and Greece are typically tied so closely basically everywhere (despite him, as I mentioned before, not actually being Greek). Then again, once we're at 40 civilizations, assuming they don't add more leaders from that time and place, it'll be allright. I feel like we really should expect a lot of that balacing the numbers to happen later, with the expansions.

ancient macedonians were dorian greeks.. they believed in the same gods and they spoke the same language.. i dont know what you mean when you say 'not actually being Greek' but 2 things are for sure: 1) they werent any slavs at this age at balkans and 2) king of england richard's the lionheart englishness is far-far less (he didnt even speak english .. he spoke occitan) than alexander's greekness.. according to this kind of historical revisionism even aristotle wasnt greek because he was born at avdera (northern from alexander's birthplace pella).. sorry for hijacking the thread but i cant stand BS..
After having a look at the game files with Australia, Macedonia, and Persia; the lack of Isabella is damning and I no longer think she will be in this DLC, or the next.

Have you considered them putting stuff in the game files to confuse us (Or, stuff in there not making it in the end anyways)? ^^" After all, there hasnt been a sign yet of the Genoese stuff that was also supposed to be there. And they know that there are people looking.
